Why do people hate driving? I want to be in my car feeling the road shake me while my windows are rolled down and my precisely selected playlist is playing just a little too loud. "But traffic-" I'm in no rush. I'll get there when I get there, I can't control other cars. I'm snuggled between all these different people and we're all going the same direction that is so cool and I don't have to worry about keeping pace w traffic cuz we're not going anywhere. We are all people on our little metal boxes and that is awesome I love driving I love sharing experiences with strangers. I mourn the loss of love for driving whenever someone old and hardened complains about having to drive somewhere. I wish you could see what I see through my lense of blind enjoyment.
I Went For a Drive Yesterday
*had to bring my car back to the repair shop.
Can't wait for everything to be fixed completely.
1200 mile drive, here we come!
It really sucks when you cant listen to music or play your favourite games cause there are memories associated with someone. Legit my only solace is driving now, it just helps me calm down and enjoy small things now days, last night i went out driving. We ended up running with a small car crew where i live. No words were exchanged between us, just mutual respect and love of cars. No speeding or reckless driving. Just cruising around the region till we all parted ways. Driving has become my peace, and i will forever keep it as mine.
