So, about all this hate on Jared

I am truly disgusted with some of these people in our fandom.

As most people have probably heard, Jared had made an innocent joke to a British girl who asked a question to J2 at a convention and it was supposed to be pointed towards The World Cup but people took it out of context and made others believed that he was talking about the dispute on the Mexican/U.S. border.

I do not have a Twitter but I’m sure most of you do. The link to this post can be found here.

Here is the chat I had with my best friend over the matter:

I probably have no right to speak my mind about this; I am, after all, just a small blog with few followers and I do not even have a Twitter account, but I am going to rant about this anyway.

If you were to watch the entirety of the video (which I did), you would have been able to see that Jared was only teasing about the girl being British and coming to the U.S. He was in no way relating his joke to what is currently happening in America.

If you read the thread, on down you can even find the girl who this joke was said to tries to justify Jared’s statement and claims that it was not offensive in the slightest and, as the girl herself quoted, even called her his “British friend!”

But, even as she tried to justify his statement, there were still people commenting about how Jared disgusts them and that he had no right. They even went as far as blaming Jensen and Genevieve for his joke.

Even if you look at his joke out of context, he made a mistake. Everyone does. Maybe the words came out of his mouth before he could stop them. Maybe making jokes was just how he coping with what is happening. Why must you go and pick at his flaws? Why must you attack him for every little mistake he has made? Even going as far as attacking his best friend and wife!

Jared loves his fans - he loves us. All of the SPN cast members have claimed this. All he wants is to make us happy, to keep us entertained with the show.

Jared Padalecki is a wonderful human being that has made mistakes just like everyone! He deserves love, not hate! How could a man like him possibly disgust anyone?

I Love Jared!!

I love his goofiness which is so infectious..I love his babbling about anything and everything...I love his smile..I love his eyes..I love how he is so careful with his words..I love how he just enjoys life..I love how he makes everything feel alright...I love his mannerisms..I love his little face scrunch..I love how he is not one to shy away from showing affection..I love his courage his strength..I love him for the person he is...I just - I just really love everything about him. Not in a sexual way or anything but HE IS Literally SuNShiNe in human form.

I’ve been feeling really low this past month...I have not been active on insta or twitter or socializing much. I used to love Tumblr, but I’ve felt strangely disconnected from it. Somehow, I keep finding myself watching Jared—whether it’s a 30-second clip or a full one-hour panel. Just hearing him talk or laugh brings an instant smile to my face. Those few minutes of happiness have been enough to get me through. The more I watch him the more I realise that his actions have never felt performative to me...his sincerity is such a comfort I can't express in words...it's more like a warm feeling. It makes me very sad how I will never get the opportunity to tell him how much he means to me.

My God, how fucked up this people without life and problems in it are, which are now whining around the Internet about how Jared is a bad guy comes to the Cockles pannel that we've waited for whole year!

Well, fuck, I'm sure, he came, because some stupid fans with no brain do something fucked up again!

Have no other things to do? No real problems in life? 🤦 Why be in any fandom just for spreading the negative and upsetting themselves, because of some unreasonable things?! I can never understand this!

Personally, I do not care that we had two J2M panels, Cockles didn't go anywhere! It's right there! Always if we want to see it, that's how all of it works! (with all others ships as well I have to add)
