Today has been a day. I’m trying to remain positive, not become over stressed and figure a way though everything while maintaining my sanity. I’m hoping he storms clear out so I can head out for a walk, otherwise I’m hunkering down and hoping for safety while being thankful for a roof over my head.
But I chose to wore a new favorite dress because I love the lace details. Oh AND can you see the detail in my earrings? It’s the state of South Carolina! How cool is that?!
I had two good days at the gym last week. Clearly I need to do more but I’m trying to give myself grace while celebrating progress because only focusing on the negative does nothing good for me.
Went to an event, cracking up for adoption, that was put together by my church. The funds raised go to the metrolina adoption fund. Basically it provides grants and interest free loans for people who want to adopt. Adoption is so expensive and some families who have the desire to adopt and could provide safe, happy homes for kids just can’t afford it. So the grants and no interest loans really helps. So they had three people doing stand up comedy and they were awesome!
This week has been crazy already but I’m trying to not let it get the best of me and make time for things that are important and make me better.
