I pretty much feel like my brain has too many tabs open at all times. There’s dirty dishes in the sink, a stack of 75+ new originals ready to be scanned + listed in #chelceytatestudio, 4 blogs to design and an editorial calendar for the blog that’s just kind of there to laugh at me at this point. Even though this brain of mine is in constant overdrive, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This super chill weekend was just what I needed to kick it into high gear next week! Happy Sunday, y'all!
Lucky I’m in love with my best friend. 💕 Feeling especially cheesy tonight – So thankful for my sweet husband who has supported me from the very beginning with all of my crazy business ideas. I wrote a post yesterday about feeling down + especially unmotivated this time of year, and I’ve decided to fight that by keeping as many plants in our house as possible … Continuing with my weekly flower run. Anyone have any suggestions of good house plants that aren’t easy to kill? I unfortunately haven’t been blessed with a green thumb so only suggestions for the easiest plants known to mankind, please! 😂
Made some seriously delicious mini heart shaped strawberry pies yesterday + I may have eaten one for breakfast this morning. 🙈 Think strawberry pop-tarts, but SO much better that the comparison doesn’t even come close to doing them justice. Happy Valentine’s Day from our sweet family to yours! If you need us, we’ll be hanging around the house like it’s any other day because, well, it is. 🙈 Anyone else around here not really celebrate Valentine’s Day? It’s not that we deliberately don’t do something because of the concept of it, we just believe that you should be showing your love every day of the year, and not just on FEB 14th. Plus, what’s the fun in going out and dealing with huge crowds when you could be hanging at home and (probably) ordering a pizza? Pizza always wins in our book.

It’s been snowing all day long + the only bright side is that probably means a three day weekend for my sweet husband … The downside is that our grocery situation isn’t the greatest right now. 🙈 We’re not huge snow people over here, but this pup of ours sure is! How cute is he!? 😍

I have a serious case of the Mondays, y'all. You won’t see a super inspirational message about how Monday’s are fresh starts from my corner of the Internet today … So instead I bring you an awesome quote from one of my very favorite shows of all time – Lorelai Gilmore just speaks to my heart. I was so hesitant to start wearing hats once I chopped my hair, but I am so glad that I got over that! I mean, when throwing your hair up in top knot is no longer an option you have to find some way to deal with dirty hair (that doesn’t require actually washing it). 😂 Ain’t nobody got time for that! I know it’s a little late for a #throwbackthursday, but I just couldn’t resist! I swear this is the most perfect top knot I have ever styled + I felt it totally necessary to share it again. 🙈 P.S. I’m pretty sure I’ve worn a beanie 4 days in a row to avoid having to do my hair … I’m seriously missing the days of top knots + braids!
Today my husband told me that I’m high maintenance when it comes to breakfast, but that’s just because I actually eat breakfast + he doesn’t. 😂 So … Diet Coke, eggs over easy, and a snickerdoodle it is. 🙈 So happy it’s Saturday!!!
