Patch dump!
Sometimes life really fucking sucks. Then it gets good for a bit. Maybe really good. But then it sucks again. Then maybe it's just okay for a long time, and you're just wadding through it.
Whatever all this is supposed to mean, just find those things that make you happy, that bring you joy and love the shit out of them.
It probably won't last forever, so love it while you can. Love all the things. Love recklessly. Remind yourself you're alive. Even if it doesn't last. Then grieve the loss, take your time. When you're ready, find a reason to love again.
not to be emo but there’s something to be said abt the inherent poetry of the staff putting stickers on all ur belongings without asking u in the psych ward. looking at a book I read two yrs ago while I was there that has my barcode on it like. yeah. we were both fundamentally changed.
Credit: @decomprosed “This album has been almost a year in the making. Through many different permutations and hours upon hours of late-night obsession over split seconds of waveforms, I now proudly present the debut self-titled Soft Teeth EP. The music is a mixture of recordings from old projects of mine and new experiments. Industrial, noise, ambient/drone, fuzzed out lo-fi dirge rock. It's available for free streaming and pay-what-you-want download from SoundCloud and Bandcamp. You can enter $0 on the download page, but a few dollars always help and would be much appreciated. Mostly, I just want people to hear the first recording I've ever been completely proud of and happy with. Share the link, tag a friend, and please enjoy the moldy fruits of my painful labor. This also marks the launch of a project I've been working on for a while, de.tach press; a multi-format, private press specializing in outsider art.” https://softteeth.bandcamp.com/album/soft-teeth https://soundcloud.com/softteethsounds/sets/soft-teeth http://de.tach.press/detachment/soft-teeth-self-titled http://decomprosed.com/softteeth
May the dark circles around my eyes
Be a testament to all the things
That keep me up at night
To the people, places and things
I fall madly in love with
And fight sleep just to love them
A little bit more

CRUST INSPIRED TOTE
This tote is coming sooooo painfully slowly, but we're taking shape!!! Fly and rear beads are still a WIP, but I'm so happy with how this is going so far!
Queer Art 🧶
Backed into a corn field on the SD border for the night (with owners consent), our first night totally boondocked in months. We resolved to not sleep in one more Walmart, Planet Fitness, (this week I get to play "personal trainer" again... all body weight exercises, ow!) or truck stop for the rest of the week. We've gone hard the past few months trying to sell and grind and drive hard to get places and we finally have just enough cash to take a week off hustling and still put fuel in Jolene to get through SD and WY. We plan on seeing Wall Drug, the Black Hills and the Badlands. And whatever else my odd attractions app suggests. Genny works, we are super stocked on food and have lots of catching up to do crafting costumes for Wasteland, reading, enjoying nature, and launching our oddities label side project (debuting in the next day or two!). Also reconnecting to one another and unplugging from all the light pollution, and refilling our mental batteries from months of constant contact (introverts unite). Tonight, listening to cows lowing and cicadas singing, I am so at peace it's almost crazy.
