hey it's your favouriteeeee >:333
since i wanted to give you a break from the art fight you're having (hope you win!!!!!), i wanted to ask:
how did you layout your intro post?
now i know how to format and stuff, but the pictures and the under the cut thing (how do people do it??) and the dividers... it's all so much huhuuuu (╥﹏╥)
oh! and one last thing. I'm kinda lost on what to add to this intro post lol.... so any tips, maybe ?? 🤧🤧🫣🫣
so, taking advice from a dear friend (you!!!), i wanted to ask.
thank u sm!!!!💞💞
w/ pizazz,
elis
Ooh! Hi there Elis! Thanks for the question (and the break, lol)
Well, it really depends on the style you want, and what you post.
For example, because I'm a writer, I have a section dedicated to my fanfics. I have a section dedicated to the pieces of art I've done which I think are particularly good. I also have a section dedicated to nice things people have done for me, and little tid bits that don't fit into other sections.
Your intro is all about who you are. You want it to display your aesthetic and vibe. I grabbed some pics off of Pinterest that I liked and positioned them at the top and bottom.
Since I like astronomy, I took some dividers made by others and used those where I felt they were needed: e.g section changes. Make sure you credit the artist who made the divider, of course.
It can also be a bit of a master list, it's a bit like a strawpage, but more detailed. It helps the reader understand what you post and what they may find.
For you, you could start with your fandoms, e.g COD and Sherlock BBC.
Tumblr is all fun, it's important not to take the intro seriously, but it's about organising your blog into neat little sections.
Since you like reblogging, maybe you could have a section dedicated to your favourite pieces, drabbles, etc.
Some people like to have a section that includes things like "Go follow" whoever it may be, a list of people, or one person "or I'll show up at your doorstep" or whatever. Which is something I've considered. It's just showing people who you interact with, and lets them explore new blogs.
It's also about showing people who you are as a person, so it's important to make it as you as possible. Don't overthink it, trust me 🤣
As for the under the cut thing,
