fan-made plushie sprites of MANY GUYS! some will be edited slightly, and i will definitely do more characters! (esp from ch 1) i just wanted to share it all in it's current state :]
ft. @fungusfoxart's oc warren, and my werster, of course!
(with my sprite stuff being stolen before - these are ok to use only if you directly ask me first with full credit being present)
the original reason behind me making these... was to recreate them as masterblocks on ajpw! (to fund my memberships) but also to bring some fanart of characters that go heavily misrepresented with the typical ajpw audience. ESPECIALLY CHAPTER 4 (hence, no tenna or spamton and a lot of random enemies and side characters... they get enough fanart on there already :P. i need to become THE chapter 4 guy there,)
not even a guy im crazy over but having relevant items means he gets a corner - art shown below by ign: gummieworms7!
the Autism corner (other art seen clearly in shot by ign: tinywolfheart, lemonline126, greenroom and petitesprit)
In the morning, Kris gets out of bed, stretching. Their body aches unpleasantly. The night had been restless again: Kris had—as desired—pulled out their soul and decided to warn Susie about the danger posed by Myth, but she was already asleep by then, so Kris decided not to wake her. They toss their head to clear the bangs from their face. Sunlight streams brightly through the window, illuminating not just the bed but also a flowerpot that has appeared on the nightstand. During the night, they had planted seeds there that they found at Asgore’s place.
Kris yawns and heads downstairs. They look around the living room, but there is no one there; Toriel has either left or is still asleep. They approach the fridge, open it, and—surveying the groceries—decide not to waste time cooking and just have some toast. The human waits by the toaster for a moment, then retrieves the food when it pops up. Popping the toast into their mouth, Kris grabs a glass and goes to the bathroom to fill it with water.
They head back up the stairs to their room, approach the flowerpot, and water the soil. After changing into a different hoodie—identical to the previous one—the human heads for the front door.
Stepping outside, Kris breathes in the fresh air. They quietly close the door behind them and make their way toward the flower shop. Naturally, the soul compels Kris to talk to everyone along the way—how could it be otherwise? Bratty talks about her new relationship with Burgerpants, and a couple of minutes into their conversation, Burgerpants himself steps out of Sans’s shop.
"Ol' buddy!!! THERE YOU ARE!!"
He strikes up a conversation with Kris too, raving about how hot and wonderful his new girlfriend is. Kris hurries to leave, not wanting to listen to them anymore.
Dreemurr heads to Asgore’s shop and enters through the back exit; the main door had been locked since Asgore went missing. Inside the dark room, the flowers still sit in their containers. Kris sighs, picks up a watering can, fills it with water, and waters the plants. They handle the golden flower with care, adjusting its support stake—Susie and they had decided to try and fix the flower somehow. Dreemurr looks around their father’s room with a sad expression.
Having finished up here, they head to school. After opening the supply closet door and crossing into the Dark World, Kris meets Ralsei near the castle entrance. Ralsei was coming from the King’s chambers, and upon spotting Kris, his eyes seem to light up with excitement.
"Oh, Kris! It’s good to see you! How are things going? How is your project?" Ralsei runs up to Dreemurr and gives them a hug. "Susie isn't here right now, but she told me you were in a garden belonging to someone named Myth on the outskirts yesterday."
Kris nods and explains what happened the day before. Ralsei listens intently.
"Wreaths? Oh, I taught Susie how to weave wreaths too! Though hers kept falling apart. Is she making any progress?"
Kris nods again.
"I’m so happy for her!" Ralsei hands them a cup of tea. "But... you know, I worry about her."
The Dark Prince lowers his gaze and offers a sad smile.
"She’s truly a wonderful person. But doesn't she... have a home of her own? She comes here every night. Food from the Dark World doesn't nourish Lightners, and I doubt she’s eating well in the Light World. I tried to strike up a conversation with her about it, but... She didn't want to say much. She said she has a room, but..."
Kris grips their mug tightly, then loosens their hold. They take a sip of tea and shake their head.
"Oh... Haha, alright, I won't push it! ...Maybe you'd like some more cake? I can make some!"
Kris politely declines and, blowing on the mug, finishes the rest of the tea. They thank the Darkner.
"Leaving already? If you don't mind, I'll walk you out!"
Dreemurr chats a bit with the Darkners, spars in the Dojo, and plays the guitar. Without Susie's company, things feel... sadder, somehow. Dimmer.
Ralsei waves goodbye to Kris as they leave. Stepping out of the school, Kris finally heads toward the place they least want to go: Myth's house.
They walk up to the police tape and, making sure no one is around, climb over it. They walk along the road, eventually turning onto a forest path. It is suspiciously quiet all around; only the rustling of leaves and grass can be heard. Many flowers grow along the way—perhaps Myth's own handiwork.
Upon seeing Myth's house, Kris tugs at the gate handle—it's unlocked. They stand there for a few seconds, trying to steady their nerves, then step inside. Kris had said yesterday that they would retrieve the photos and "definitely grab some more candy for Susie, too." They hadn't wanted any unwanted ears nearby during their conversation. Noelle and Susie had agreed to look for more information about the flowers together and then head to Myth's house if Kris hadn't returned by then. Kris will be able to run or defend themselves if the doe is truly dangerous. They approach the house and knock.
Myth opens the door a couple of minutes later. Her hands are covered in dust, and she wipes them off on her skirt.
"Hi, Krismas! Come on in—sorry about the bit of a mess; I was just going through my albums and magazines looking for some photos. Let's go."
She steps aside to let Kris pass. The doe’s home is quite cozy; the interior, like the exterior, features a palette of blue and pink with white accents. Flowers sit on the windowsills, while items—albums, photos, loose sheets, and documents—are scattered across the floor. Kris carefully steps over them, taking a seat and watching as the homeowner opens drawers and flips through books.
"Help yourself to more candy if you like; I don't mind. Don't be shy—make yourself at home."
Kris looks away, then, blushing slightly, takes a handful of candies and slips them into a pocket.
Kris watches Myth in silence. They say nothing at first, only asking a question after a couple of minutes.
"What are those documents?"
"Hmm?" Myth turns and looks in the same direction as Kris. "Oh! Those are the collaboration papers with your father. How is the old fellow doing, by the way?"
Kris remains silent.
"...He’s gone missing. Just like Officer Undyne."
Myth freezes.
"Missing? And how long ago...?"
"A couple of days ago."
A heavy silence falls between them. Myth frowns, turning her head away, while Dreemurr slumps slightly but keeps watching her. She bites her lip, then takes a deep breath, closing her eyes. As she exhales, she speaks in a quieter voice.
"I’m so sorry. I didn't know—Noelle hasn't stopped by lately, and I haven't been into town myself... I hope they’re found soon. If I happen to see anything near my house, I’ll definitely come into town and let you know."
Kris hums in response. She goes back to searching, opening another locker. Dreemurr can’t bring herself to broach the subject. But they can’t just sit in silence forever.
"...Why were you and Dess at odds?"
Myth stays silent for a moment, then answers calmly.
"At first, Dess and I... got along pretty well. We shared interests, and spending time with her was genuinely fun. But later, she decided I’d be a bad influence on you and Noelle, so she decided to keep me away from you two."
"Why?"
"I... don't think I can answer that question, Kris."
Kris narrows her eyes, watching her closely. The smile is gone from her face. A tightness forms in their chest: Myth is definitely hiding something and doesn't want to talk about it.
"Dess didn't just think you were a bad influence; she thought you were dangerous."
"Are you avoiding me just because of what she said? Did I ever hurt you or Noelle?" Myth asks quietly.
They don't know what to say. After all, she truly never did anything bad to Kris and Noelle—quite the opposite; she kept an eye on them, gave them sweets, and offered praise.
"Kris, I’ve known Noelle for a long time. She trusts me. So why won't you trust me, too?"
Myth looks tired. She runs her thumb over the cover of an old book—one she had asked the church to give her.
Kris hunches their shoulders and remains silent. Suddenly, things feel uneasy. Why don't Kris trust her, then? Could Dess be wrong? But there has to be something to it, right?
"Then why do poisonous flowers grow in your garden?"
"I’m just an amateur botanist. I enjoy growing different kinds of flowers. Hardly anyone comes here, so there’s little risk of accidental poisoning, and I’m careful when handling them myself."
"What about the animals? There aren't any predators here, yet the police tape never went away. Why didn't the Mayor make you move when all the other residents did?"
Myth stays silent. Kris thinks she won't answer, but then she speaks softly.
"Kris... I don't think I know anything about the animal deaths. I know it looks suspicious, but the Mayor was satisfied regarding my safety and allowed me to stay here. Besides, I live on the outskirts. You’ll just have to take my word for it; I don't know how else to prove to you that I’m not to blame."
Dreemurr listens closely, then swallows hard. They don't know what to think. They want to keep believing the doe can't be trusted, but there aren't any truly compelling arguments for it. “But what if you’re living here precisely because the Mayor isolated you—”
Just as they try to continue the conversation, a loud, unmistakable sound erupts from outside the window. The roar of a Fountain opening. A Fountain leading to the Dark World. A brilliant flash illuminates the room.
Kris’s eyes widen instantly, and they rush to the window. There were no plans to open a Fountain here, in Myth’s garden! It wasn’t part of the plan at all!
“What the...” Myth stares in horror at the pillar of darkness outside, her mouth agape. She quickly composes herself and looks at Kris, her expression tense. “Kris, stay here. Don’t go anywhere. I’ll find out what’s going on.”
Myth runs out of the house, grabbing the first thing within reach: a dusty shoulder-mounted synthesizer standing by the entrance. She felt there was no time to search for a proper weapon. It was a foolish choice, but better than nothing—she hadn’t played it in ages anyway; she’d been planning to throw it out or donate it to charity.
Kris wears a look of bewildered surprise and runs after her. There is NOT supposed to be a Fountain here! So why the hell has one appeared?! They hadn’t discussed this with...! It has to be closed fast, before the darkness spreads!
Rushing into the garden, the Dreemurr sees the darkness swelling near the garden entrance. They look around but don’t see Myth anywhere—she seems to have vanished. Gritting their teeth and taking a step back, Kris hesitates for a moment, then leaps straight into it. Well, it looks like another floral adventure awaits.
Noelle gives Kris a gentle nudge on the shoulder, and they mumble something under their breath.
"Come on, Kris, get up! I promised you and Susie I’d help with the project after all, so today we’re going around town to gather information!"
Kris mumbles something again and turns their head, looking at Noelle with a sleepy gaze through strands of hair messily scattered across their face.
"Come on, Kris, seriously!"
Someone slams a fist onto the table, making Kris involuntarily squint and flinch. Susie shakes their arm and leans in close to their face, lowering her voice.
"The longer we stay here, the sleepier I get, too. Especially looking at that sleepy mug of yours. Let's just knock out this stupid project and bail to the Dark World, yeah?"
Kris sighs heavily. They stand up, blinking a few times to shake off the last of their sleepiness. Susie and Noelle are standing in front of them, patiently waiting for them to wake up.
"Um, so... what was the topic for your project?" Noelle asks, looking at Kris inquiringly. Dreemurr shrugs, glancing at Susie.
"I don't even know, dude! We never actually picked anything."
Both of them turn to Noelle. She looks at them in surprise, then frowns thoughtfully, clutching her books.
"In that case... let's head over to the library for starters, and we can come up with something on the way. Since it's a biology project—do you guys have any ideas?"
Susie pouts, gazing thoughtfully at the trees as they walk. When a leaf falls, she grabs it and eats it. “Uh... well, biology is all about studying plants, after all. Maybe something about a specific tree?”
“Temmie already picked trees so she could... ‘study which tree is best for growing eggs’...”
Silence falls. Noelle glances sideways at Susie, who is kicking a stone while looking down at her feet. Kris walks silently behind them.
Their last adventure comes to mind. It’s been a couple of days since the festival—since the moment Asgore was kidnapped. Surprisingly, no new fountains have opened up in all that time—something even Ralsei found odd; it’s as if the Knight is stalling for something. The calm before the storm. Noelle, meanwhile, hasn't been herself since her father—Rudy—took a fall. She’s been worried sick about his condition; fortunately, he’s okay, but there’s no way they’ll let him leave the hospital now after that tumble. Rudy is growing weaker by the day. That’s exactly why Noelle decided to distract herself by hanging out with friends; Rudy practically shooed her out of his room to go “chase after her love.”
“Maybe animals, then?” Susie asks.
“Berdly and I already picked the topic of unique animal species in town—sorry... But maybe we really should go with plants?”
“...Flowers?” Kris says softly from behind. Noelle and Susie stop and turn toward them. Their last adventure in the Dark World was deeply tied to plants and flowers... The image of Flowery’s face and his body sliced in half flashes through their mind.
“Flowers... Hmm! That’s actually not a bad idea. Maybe you could study a specific flower? Its growth, the conditions it needs?”
Kris feels the golden buttercup seeds they took from their dad’s shop. Poisonous.
“Right! Kris, maybe we could check out those flowers that... um... Asgore has.”
Susie’s voice grows quieter. There hasn’t been a word from Asgore since the Knight took him away. Kris says nothing, eyes cast down at the ground.
“Or—or we could go to the garden on the edge of town...?”
“The edge of town?” She turns to Holiday. “Past the police tape, you mean? We aren’t supposed to go there, right? Or are you okay with breaking the rules now?”
Susie playfully nudges Noelle with her shoulder. Noelle giggles softly, blushing slightly.
“Well...! Sometimes it’s okay, isn’t it? People still cross it, since there are folks living on the other side.”
“I thought nobody lived there?” Susie drawls. Kris rolls their eyes while walking behind them, knowing exactly who she’s talking about.
“A friend of mine! It’s strange you haven’t seen her... Though, she tries not to show up in town very often. She moved to be closer to nature, after all. I’ll introduce you!”
Before they knew it, they had reached the police tape. Noelle ducks to step under it, while Susie turns back to Kris.
“Bet you can’t jump over it?” she asks, squinting and flashing a wide, toothy grin.
Kris shakes their head. They’re weak after another “soulless” night.
“Eh. Suit yourself, party pooper.” She leaps over the tape with a running start, nearly knocking down other barriers along the way. Dreemurr, following Holiday’s lead, carefully climbs over the tape.
“Susie! Are you okay?” – Noelle looks at her with concern, but she simply brushes off her jacket.
“I’m fine. Let’s go.”
Walking at a leisurely pace through streets familiar to Noelle, Susie looks around. She hasn’t been to this part of town since it was closed off.
Kris makes a huffing sound. Noelle glances at them, but realizing they won’t say anything more, she explains:
”They started finding a lot of dead animals from the nearby forest here—even large ones. They decided to close off this part of town for the time being, thinking some dangerous predator was roaming the area.“
”Wouldn't it be easier to just catch it? And wouldn't it have made its way into the Hometown by now? A couple of pieces of scrap metal probably won't stop it. And what about your friend living there if it's so dangerous?"
"That's just how my mom explained it," Noelle shrugs, deflating. "You can't really... argue with her. And she won't say anything more. As for her... She has a big fence around her house, she's not afraid."
They spend the rest of the walk chatting about trivial things while Kris follows behind. They didn't like being in this part of town, even though they visited often—especially walking along this forest path. And yet, this was the very place where...
"Here we are!" Noelle exclaims. A small but charming house appears before them, painted in soft shades of pink and blue; surrounding it is a massive—truly enormous—garden filled with a wide variety of plants. A butterfly flutters right past Kris's nose.
"Holy crap..." Susie raises her eyebrows and lets out a low whistle. "Your friend lives here? Just... in the middle of the woods? And she’s got a garden like this?"
"Fa-ha-ha! Exactly."
They walk up to the unlocked gate, and once they reach the house, Noelle knocks on the door three times.
"Myth? Are you home?"
Myth. One of those suspicious loner monsters Kris didn't care for. She was a dark-brown deer with white spots and pink antlers. The last time Kris saw her, she was wearing a knee-length black skirt with a small pink pattern at the hem and a loose-fitting blue T-shirt featuring a pink star in the center. She wore baggy, black-and-blue striped fingerless gloves, and her skirt was held up by a belt with a similar—though black-and-pink—striped pattern. She often tied her long hair back in a ponytail, as it tended to get in the way while she worked in the garden. For some reason, she preferred not to wear shoes, unlike all the other normal monsters. Toriel doesn't count. And the others don't count. She is the odd one.
She seems sweet and kind, but there’s something off about her. No matter how hard she tries to appear good, she is dangerous—and always will be.
Myth unlocks the door, smiling at Noelle.
"Nelly! Hi, long time no see!" She hugs Holiday, then looks to see who else has arrived. "Wow, you... brought friends? Hi, Krissy, hi... I don't think I know you. My name's Myth!"
Kris says nothing.
"Uh, Susie, ma'am. My name's Susie." She looks up at the woman's tall figure, which seems even taller thanks to the steps.
"Nice to meet you, Susie! Come on in—I never mind having guests." She steps aside to let them pass. Kris enters last, not exactly eager to go inside.
Myth makes tea and sets out cookies and candies. She used to slip those tasty candies into Kris and Noelle's palms whenever Dess wasn't looking—their relationship had been tense. When she turns away, Kris quietly swipes a couple of candies from the bowl. Even if Myth noticed, she didn't say anything.
"Please don't ruin the visit, Kris. Just for the sake of the project? Please? For me?" Noelle whispers in their ear. They don't reply. Susie heard it but decided not to bring it up just yet.
"I expected to see Noelle, but not Susie—and certainly not Kris! What brings you here?" She rests her chin on her hand, listening intently. Susie immediately grabs a cookie and takes a bite.
"Ma'am—Myth, uh... Well, Kris and I have to do a biology project, but... honestly, we haven't really done anything yet. Kris had a great idea to study flowers, and Noelle mentioned you have a whole garden full of them."
Myth claps her hands together.
"Yes, that's right! You saw it on your way in. I know a lot about flowers, though it is a shame you're only thinking about the project now... It’s not exactly a quick process. When is it due?"
"In a week," Kris says coolly. Myth looks at them for a second, then slowly forces her slightly faded smile back into place.
"Oh! So you do have a little time after all. Well, you can't exactly grow anything in a week, hmm... But you could study the structure of some unusual flower—one with unique qualities and properties? I have plenty of things in the garden; come on, I'll show you!"
Kris doesn't like it here. Not one bit. Everything is too bright, too calm, too sweet. There’s something wrong with her. But why don't Susie and Noelle notice? Especially Noelle.
Myth is talking about one of the flowers, showing it to Susie and Noelle. Kris is lost in thought, paying no attention to her chatter. Dess never specified exactly what was wrong with Myth, but Kris would rather trust her than... this Holiday family knockoff.
"Hey, Kris! I'm actually talking to you," Susie waves her hand in front of Kris's face; Kris blinks and shifts their gaze toward her. "How about we do the project on the Winter-bloomer? Myth can give us the materials, since she’s photographed it and can share them!"
“I think it’s best to write ‘hellebore’ first—after all, that’s its official name, right?” Noelle suggests.
Kris gives a brief “Okay,” turning their weary gaze away. Myth looks at them strangely.
They spend a little more time in the garden. Myth demonstrates how to make flower crowns, placing a wreath of pink and purple hues on her own head. Noelle manages to make a neat wreath, while Susie’s falls apart; Myth giggles and helps her fix it. When they finish, Noelle places her wreath on Susie’s head, and Susie, caught off guard, decides to give hers to Noelle.
"Kris, why are you just sitting there? Give it a try, too," Susie turns to them. Kris presses their lips together, then picks a few flowers that Myth had given permission to take. They settle on calendula—marigolds. They quietly weave their wreath, and then Noelle walks over and places... another wreath... on their head?
"Now everyone has a wreath," Noelle smiles softly. Kris touches the flowers with their fingertips, exhaling and offering a grateful smile in return.
After some time spent weaving wreaths, chatting, taking notes, and making small talk—in which Kris didn't really participate—Myth stops them just as everyone is getting ready to leave.
"Kris, can I have a word?"
A wave of irritation washes over them at the touch of her hand on their shoulder. They nod and step a little away from the others.
"Kris, I know we haven't been getting along, but... Are you okay? You haven't been yourself. Or is it me having that effect on you?" She smiles warmly.
"You," Kris answers curtly. Myth laughs.
"Well, at least you're honest! But seriously... If something's wrong... talk to someone about it. If not me, then just someone. Your mom—she's wonderful."
Kris says nothing. Myth sighs.
"Look, Kris... I know you don't trust me. But you really are a good kid. If you want, come back here tomorrow to pick up the photos and... ask whatever you're curious about?"
Silence. "Well, I won't keep you," they say, returning to the others and waving goodbye. "See ya, guys! I'll definitely look for those hellebore photos by tomorrow!"
As they walk away, Kris picks up the candy stolen from her desk and pops it into their mouth.
"...She's actually pretty cool! Wait... Kris? Is that candy? Care to share?" Susie peers at Kris's hands, seeing only the wrapper. Kris rolls their eyes but, smirking, pulls another candy from their pocket. They unwrap it and toss it to Susie, who catches it deftly.
"Nice!" She high-fives them. "Mmm, raspberry!"
Kris hands a candy to Noelle as well, without tossing it. She thanks them too.
They keep talking, deciding to head back to town—to the library—to find out more about the flower, while Kris chews their candy, half-listening and thinking about how they’ll have to go back to her house tomorrow.
Maybe that's when they'll finally get a chance to learn the truth? And they need to warn Susie not to trust her too much.
Myth [she/her] is a deer who moved to Hometown from Housetown ( :DD ) not long before Dess's disappearance. She is half-amalgamate, half-monster. In the past she got into an accident, and her human friend was so desperate to save her that they volunteered to give her a bit of their soul's power. But due to monster and human soul incompatibility, it was very risky, and Myth turned out to be an amalgamate. A lot of time passed before she learned how to live with that and stabilize her form. Myth feels really insecure and hides this secret about herself from everyone.
She was not on good terms with Dess, but still managed to talk to Kris and Noelle a bit at times and give them candies. After Dess disappeared, she became kinda worried about Noelle and tries to help her, but without forcing herself onto her. «Sister figure» for Noelle.
Why doesn't Dess like her? She saw what Myth is – an amalgamate, and thus Myth can easily hurt someone while being in an uncontrolled state. When Myth tried to explain, she got angry that Dess didn't listen to her and hurt her. She feels a lot of guilt about this, and Dess didn't believe that she was safe to be around, so she kept Noelle far from her.
Ralsei is sus about Myth too, but as long as she's controlling herself, it's fine.
Kris's authority figure was Dess, so they kinda don't like Myth either, but at the same time they're always up for free candy and «can bear her». Noelle doesn't understand why others should fear Myth. Asriel is cautious around her due to Dess's warnings. Susie likes her free candy too.
She has pretty normal relationships with everyone else in town.
