aleksander chuckled at the awe and confusion in the young grisha's eyes. he knew the stories outside of the little palace, that the darkling was a monstrous being. what they didn't know was that terra was also a monstrous being, according to legend and rumour. like calls to like and alexsander had searched for terra for a long time. just as much as he'd searched for alina. "i hope you found the journey pleasant."

Spring was good for flowers, and herbs. He'd learned basics as a child, and by now, how to tell what each plant did by scent alone. The man was seated, taking in a moment of calm. Unless there be an immediate threat, a field of flowers were always a moment of calm. It wasn't even always by choice. Inuyasha's sense of smell was so powerful, it could have physical affects on him that went farther than suffocation when something smelled bad.

He could feel the hand behind his ear in seconds, it startled him. A few rapid blinks later, Inuyasha glanced over.

"What're you doing?" His tone was curious. "If you're tryin' t'make me look nicer, it ain't gonna work. I'm gonna look like this..." He paused. "Leeeeeet's just say for a really long time."

With that said, he leaned back slightly. His hands were pressed against soft grass. Spring was his mother's favorite season. If only that had carried over. It took a close second for Inuyasha, however. "Why don't ya put a flower in your own hair instead? Your hair's prettier than mine."
