Is the hardest part of being a human having to accept people even if you do not agree with them or how they live?
There are more than plenty who do not accept anyone, thoughts, places or things that do not fit their beliefs.
This is not about them.
This is for the ones who despite the horrors of the world, still choose to try and see the good in people.
Think about actual acceptance. ' To recognize as true'. 'To endure without protest or reaction'. Fully accepting someone for who they are. All that they are.
Is this doable with the humanity of today? How many people can actually say they would or could accept someone, as they are?
This does not mean agree with them. This is simply acceptance.
It seems in society, acceptance is lacking on a broad scale. What happened to 'love thy neighbor', 'treat others how you want to be treated', 'accept all, reject none' and all of the other inclusive quotes? Must just be parroted things to say like 'live, laugh, love'.
The world has become dog eat dog, vicious, ugly and brutal.
Full acceptance can be considered with unconditional love.
Strong words. Un - conditional Love. Loving with NO conditions.
Not much of that going around these days. But isn't that what love is really supposed to be?
Who told us love hurts?
Who told us love is vain?
Who told us love is prideful?
When did we learn to completely disregard others feelings in pursuit of "self love"?
