@lovediscriminate (margo) told sage // nobody tell me God doesn’t have a sense of humour. // petals for armour starters + accepting !
“Mmhm, but I think y’might be testin’ Him now.”
Despite the remark, Sage grinned, nudging Margo in the ribs with her elbow. Leaning in closer, she rested her head on the other’s shoulder, watching as the people walked by determined to get to their destination, weaving around those who strolled along at a more leisurely pace.
Technically, she was on a job, monitoring the front of the business building just ahead, tracking the CEO’s movements. Apparently, there’s been whispers about some dirty dealings happening in that big, imposing skyscraper and honestly, Sage is all too eager to find out what they were and just how to expose these dirty little secrets of theirs. Though, nobody could say that she couldn’t work and play--- that’s the good thing about being freelance and being your own boss. Besides, this looked much less suspicious and exponentially more fun than sitting around on her phone.
