I, Patrizio Vagelli, started growing my beard about 4 years back. Its my passion that pushes me to grow and maintain my beard. I never realized or decided that I would grow a beard so long. I playfully started growing my beard long and had participated in a Bearded Fashion event. The responses that I received from people encouraged me to grow my beard and moustache. And that's how it then turned out to be passion for me and since then I am in love with the process! I make sure that I maintain my beard so that it looks good and not frizzy. For me, a beard really needs a lot of maintenance to keep it healthy. It needs regular shampooing and oiling so it remains the way it should be. I would suggest to use beard products to shampoo, condition, restructure, oil, etc. instead of general shampoo and condition products used for hair. I always carry my beard kit which has shaving brush and other products that I have just mentioned.
