You Don’t Have To Earn Love (You Already Deserve It)
Let’s just start with the thing you might secretly be wondering:
No, you do not have to earn love.
It’s not a grade your heart gets at the end of the semester. It’s not a promotion you unlock after you’ve finally “fixed” yourself. It’s definitely not a prize for being attractive enough, successful enough, or “together” enough.
Love is not a loyalty program. You don’t rack up points and then cash them in.
Real love is not a transaction.
It doesn’t live on your résumé, your Instagram grid, or that invisible checklist of “things I should have figured out by now.” It’s not about how impressive you look or how well you’re performing at being a human.
At its simplest, love is human. Messy, honest, vulnerable human. It grows when you’re real, not when you’re perfect.
