A speck of gold
So many of you know I work as head of support for a company and spend my days getting yelled at by people who had a bad day. Then there's this one customer who always thanks the agent handling his errand with poems, and I just thought he deserved some recognition for being absolutely fantastic and making me smile today ❤ Today's poem was: "Cupid on a bed of roses laid his weary head. Luckless urchin did not see Beneath the leaves a slumbering bee. The bee awoke with anger wild The bee awoke and stung the child. To Venus he ran he flew I die in pain in truth I do. And Venus in a while Approached him with a smile. If so much pain from a little bee Think of the heart that's stung by thee"
I’ve posted before about how incredibly grateful I am to have such a high review ratio to my sales. Well, just last week I reached over 200 5-star reviews!!! This is only a few of the more recent reviews, most of which are in-depth and I really appreciate! It isn’t allowed to thank people for their reviews through Etsy (it is considered bribery), regardless of whether or not you promote complete honesty on them, so I’m thanking you all here: thank you SO MUCH for helping my shop grow and to build its reputation! Thank you for your collective patience as well recently as my life has been progressively out of control. I’m starting to reign it back in but I can assure you I don’t take for granted how understanding and kind people have been with delays and personal matters leaking into my work when they should NOT have. How cute is this 😊 Got a card and a box of chocolates off a customer for telling her her dog had a ear infection and needed to go to the vets
Some chavs wanted to see 22 Jump Street, so two girls bought their tickets and then this little lippy boy was like "eerr yeh m8 23 jump street plz" and obviously I asked for ID because he still had a foetal glow on him. That's when all the "but he's with us/i'll call my mum/check my facebook" lines came out. But the little baby kept on saying "CALL THE OLD BILL" hahaha as if I was going to ring them to report a settlement in an argument so I laughed at them and the foetus guy said he'd "do me in" and waddled away in his overfilled swag nappy.
Today I managed to help this one lady to the point she thanked god for me and said I made her day. People like her makes my day.
