❝a god am I. [closed; Charles X.]
The rush of arrows hardly did anything to slow Loki. They attacked suddenly and from all directions, as though entirely aware that he posed more of a hindrance than many other patients--- but his armor came to much use, protecting him entirely. The projectiles merely bounced off harmlessly.
Then there was silence.
Loki nearly uttered a faint growl of ire, viridian eyes harshly focused as he stared about in silence. In his right hand, he held a large, golden sceptre with a blue jewel-like, faintly glowing orb attached to its end. He did not yet need to use such a powerful weapon, but it seemed as though he was unable to control his powers at all, anyway.
Apparently, the doctors had not lied when they'd explained their actions to him during his first day there. The Asgardian knew they would pay and thus did not bother feeling concerned... and he was convinced that even if he made no move towards the doctors, they would still be eliminated eventually.
Surely the patients were just as brutally vengeful as he was.
One human in particular, however, diverted his gaze, distracting Loki momentarily from his brooding. "You there.." A smirk slowly curled to the trickster's lips while he approached as a predator would to its prey. The god pointed his sceptre at Charles, staring down at him all the while, "You must be no different from the rest...
"Kneel before me."
