Ideas for making Lover's rock meet
So Lover's Rock is the ship between Hobie Brown (Spiderpunk) and Michelangelo from TMNT 2003.
Since Hobie's home universe in the comics is an America ruled by dictator Norman Osborne with an oppressive police force, it would his origins too much if you just put him into the universe of TMNT 2003.
So I came up with an alternative, in my opinion plausible, way for Lover's Rock to meet.
The TMNT 2003 are known to frequently cross dimensions.
So one day, they fall into Hobie's universe (I think it is Earth 138?) and cross each other's paths. They team up, kick some faschist ass together and become good friends (or Mikey and Hobie crush on each other, whatever's your taste).
Soon Donnie figures out a way for them to get home or the Daimyo comes to help them. (I know my TMNT 2003 lore.)
They say goodbye and carry the good memories with them.
Now, Miguel O'Hara's spider society comes into play.
He recruits Spiderpunk but the arachnid is obviously sceptical of the operation.
The first thing he does is to visit the TMNT 2003's dimension. They have a nice reunion and Hobie trusts them with his skeptism towards Miguel O'Hara. The Turtles agree. Their trauma is not destiny and they promise Hobie their support.
In this AU, at the end of Across the Spiderverse, the Spider-Band (Miles' supporters) meet in the TMNT 2003 universe.
Now onto some side ideas: Yes, Gwen, Pavitr and other members of the Spider-Band have met the Turtles. I have a oneshot idea where Gwen sleeps over the TMNT 2003 for the first time and is kinda scared of the Turtles (and Leatherhead especially if he would make an apperance) due to Reptile People Trauma tm and would slowly warm up to them then.
