I miss our gates :(
yet another rendition of @miwiheroes “answers you seek will never be found at home” chapter 4 this time! (which you should totally go read because i did NOT do it justice)
anyways.. LOVERS LAKE LOVERS LAKE LOVERS LAKE
remember when we said rip loverslakegate but it was actually rip byler bc that fucking bathroom was the best we got
:p
I scrolled through the internet looking for something interesting and came across a photo from the filming location.
Is this Lovers' Lake?
And it dawned on me, I got drawn into studying cinematography. I read a couple of articles and watched several videos on YouTube. On film sets, they make, let's say, closed tents in which they shoot scenes underwater. They aren't always filled with liquid. Most often, underwater scenes in movies are shot in a dry pavilion using the dry-for-wet technique. Actors imitate movements in the water while actually being in the air. Instead of water, they use smoke, and with the help of computer graphics, they rework this effect into water. Although, it's not ruled out that water is also used there (it's hard to say from the outside).
And now take a look at THIS, pay attention to the shot from the set with Steve from season 4, who was DROWNING IN LOVERS' LAKE.
That's all I have.
the first time we got mike and will actually holding hands was when they were holding a pipe nicknamed dick😭
i’m sorry but what the actual fuck was them running into each other in this scene. They deserved better
this was just to bait us and give us hope. fuck the duffers.
