Thanks for answering!! I do remember those parts now that you mention it! I was also wondering your thoughts on Abigail’s past. Because we didn’t see into her box or get a flash back from her. I know that she’s the youngest and the whole alcohol thing but do you think in the second season they will go more into her? I kept waiting for her flashback!

I really hope so! And I honestly can’t imagine them not doing some kind of flashback for her in the second season? She’s the only one who’s past we know absolutely nothing about. I think they did it like that to be a red herring to her potentially being infected (since she was the only one left we didn’t know anything about and thus would make some suspicious of her). But now that we know it’s obviously not her and we’ve seen at least part of everyone else’s past, I definitely think they’ll fill in some of the blanks with her in the next season.
As to her history, I literally have no idea about it. Obviously with her reaction to the box with her belongings and the fact that she even went on the ship to begin with, there’s something really bad in her past. But aside from the emotional reaction to the box and her never having drank (and her completely understandable freak out and feelings towards not being able to trust anyone), we haven’t really got anything to go on for guessing her past.
I would guess since she’s so young, that’s she’s had something really traumatic happen with her family? But that could be either her family having been awful (abusive/killers/etc) or something awful having happened to her family (all of them dying, potentially in an accident that only she survived?). Going on the little we know, I would guess it to be the latter, with her having survived and her family having died, which would explain her emotional reaction to her belongings (which could have items of her family’s or photos) and the reason she went on the trip to build a new life.
