I don’t give a shit what Heather said. How an actor chooses to get into the headspace for a character vs the character’s motivations as intended by the writers are two completely different things. And if what Heather said is to be taken as canon, then what about Tyler, or Vlamis, or Carina, or the two writers of the episode? Or is it just more fun to blame the black woman for a scene this fandom has chosen to hate?

The vast majority of this fandom needs to stop it’s hypocritical bullshit and decide if it abides by death of the author or not, because every time people prefer to be lazy and need storylines spoonfed to them, they immediately run to Carina’s twitter demanding she fill in the blanks, and when they don’t like what she says, they openly revolt and fill the main tags with their whining.

Do not come into my inbox and try to lecture me about “harmful bisexual stereotypes” when this fandom has never bothered to give a damn about listening to the people who feel seen by the portrayals on the show. If you don’t see yourself in the portrayals, or you don’t like the narrative of the show, what the hell is the point in ruining it for everyone else? Do you all get off on it or something?

Get a life, move on, and let the rest of us enjoy this silly CW show about sad cowboy aliens.

Look, I’m sure Malex will get back together after this. The thing is, Michael just participated in the sexual assault of the man he’s supposed to cosmically love and then chose Maria over him, so even if they do get back together, the magic is gone.

Even if Maria and forest are still with Michael and Alex doesn’t mean they would start working towards malex in season 3

I mean this is true, I just felt the way Tyler answered the question with seeming confidence hinted that these relationships might not still be going once the next season rolls around. Especially since it doesn’t seem they’ve started working at all on season three yet. If both Alex and Michael end season two in relationships, Tyler would know this and have no real reason to think that they were going to start working toward malex getting back together in season three with any real confidence. But if they end the season single or have some sort of big malex moment before the end of the season, he might be answering with a bit more certainty or hope.
