It’s been a weekend filled with nostalgia and emotions as I watch the person who I have walked many miles of ministry with. Many of the memories he shared this weekend are ones that I have personally stood in the gap and prayed for our church and for those who God has placed in leadership. You have lead with compassion, integrity, humility and sometimes not really knowing what was on the other side. It hasn’t always been easy. It has been very messy but you have asked the Lord for direction. I’m grateful to have had a hand in celebrating your 30 years of service with my party planning skills. I look forward to celebrating your retirement into the life of Pastor Emeritus. Thank you for seeing the gifts God has given to me and allowing me to serve along side countless pastors locally and to serve this congregation. We love you!
