Is there anything or anyone in your life that you love more than God?
I’ve been reminded lately that the two most important commandments of The Lord Jesus are Love God with all of our hearts, minds, souls, with every fiber of our being. And second is like it love your neighbor as yourself.
I understand and hope others do too; without Loving Him first and foremost in our lives fully we cannot love our neighbor as ourselves, let along ourselves.
Because He is the root of Love, He is base of All Love and All Good Things. Apart from Him, we cannot practice true love. Nor true forgiveness.
If everyone that claims Him as Lord practically practiced His commandments there would be much more love inside each and every person to go around and create an atmosphere of love every place we go and we’d also find ourselves not being judgmental remembering not to judge lest we ourselves are judged for it.
Do NOT love your children more than you do God. For they ARE His and do not love your spouse more than God. Do not love your own ways or judgement more than God. Do not Love your job or titles or money or anything or anyone more than you do God.
He is jealous and He will not forget that He has called us to Love Him Most of ALL. It is us that have forgotten this. And we have only a little time given here to get that right.
