13 weeks, low lying placenta, bright red bleeding
The last few days have been HARD. Thursday i had my NT scan and that's when they told me I have a low lying. Marginal placenta. They instructed me that i need to be on pelvic rest untill my 20 week scan. Which is fine, but this made me instantly ball my eyes out. That being said baby hope was wriggling around and moving like crazy. Babe looked fine. So I left feeling ok. Friday was my first OB Appointment. Got to talk to the midwife about the placenta mpre, basically she just said nothing in the vagina that could irritate the cervix. I could continue working, walking ect. I also had a rountine pap. I was told to make an appointment in 4 weeks and if i had any bleeding, to call the office immediately. Saturday i had to work, took a walk with raiden before my shift, then got to work and it was incredibly busy. Then at 7 i felt odd, i went to the bathroom and was bleeding bright red blood, i didn't get to leave untill 7:30 because i had to count my narcs off. Drove 25 minutes to the hospital where justin met me and my ob met me there and told me to go to labor and delivery. I got there and he brought in a portable ultrasound, and found baby moving around and wriggling. Strong heartbeat. I was relieved, he then gave me an internal exam and said there was alot of blood. So i was placed on bedrest and have been living on my couch since yesterday. Which has proved very difficult, being as Raiden is 20 months old and all over the place. I use the fetal doppler when I need some assurance. I was told to call the office tomorrow and tell them i was going to need a scan and then see an OB afterward. Keep me in your thoughts please. I'm pretty scared right now.
