so, over the holidays we were asked to do a project where we’d be given a music group to do caricature models on. i’ve done absolutely nothing on it and i’m going back next week oops
buuuut in order to get myself back into the flow of low poly modelling (don’t be fooled by how clean-ish it looks, i used the TurboSmooth modifier on it lmaoo), i did a dumb little Vineshroom from memory. Other than feeling unbridled rage bc of UV Unwrapping (it’s a bitch to do imo), i’m actually really proud of this dumb little thing, considering i literally only used 3DS Max and Paint Tool SAI for this 👌
reblogs are VERY MUCH appreciated! <3 Please make sure to check out my blog for more art! <3
A rather concerned looking fish got his texture today...

A recent commission for DaveJustDave@Youtube! It was super fun to 3d model again :D

lil low-poly thing I've been working on for class: a homestead ! A few lighting issues here and there to touch up, plus whatever edits my prof wants done but it's less than 2500 polys (around 5000 tris) for the whole scene! 3Dprogram: Maya map: 2k diffuse & bump editing: photoshop textures: pm me for the texture pack- it was a free download from gumroad and I can compress and link it from a Dropbox!
So look, I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes I put way too much effort into things that are just going to be used for shitposting purposes, such as this model of Dr. Eggman here. I have no real intention of using this thing for anything other than placing him in poses and hiding him in spots that he's not supposed to be in, or like... photoshopping a burger into his hands or something. I just think there's a lot of raw meme energy in his design and I needed to harness that shit ASAP.
progress! bistro time
Final of the bathroom scene, including one lit in Marmoset. Happy with this one! More images at www.allyalbon.com
