Enzo is such a cutie! i really love silly little fish folks like him, and am very curious about him and have many questions.
being part mudskipper, does he like playing in the mud at all? can he hop the way mudskipper can, or is he too big due to square-cube law biomechanics stuff? how does he handle the pool chemicals?

As for your questions!
Does he like playing around in mud? I’d say it’s kinda cathartic in some way? He doesn’t care about messes at all, but it’s not necessarily mud that makes him happy. It’s more just the moisture! I think the endeavor of rolling his tail in puddles or hanging out while it’s raining would be a very soothing behavior for him! He probably made a few mud pies as a kid, though…
Can he hop? YES! Not as high, but he has some VERY strong tail muscles! He might utilize it for moving horizontally quickly, but at the cost of looking silly… so.. unfortunately, I don’t think he does it often LOL. However, if he gets jump scared (hah), I’d like to think he does a short hop! I’d also like to think he flops his tail from side to side when bored (like how a mudskipper rolls to re-wet themselves), and maybe sometimes he’d press it down so that it’d skip a little! :D
How does he handle pool chemicals? Ehh… it’s okay? He had a pool as a kid and he got used to it, but let’s just say being in a non-chlorine or heavily salted pool is VERY refreshing. Living on a port has done him very well…. <3
