Feels good to be able to work outside for a change. The corners for this project had a slight camber and while I could have planed it before assembly I wanted to do it after with the Low Angle Jack Plane. Feels good to be back in the shop and using a hand tool! I will joint what I can on the jointer and then hand plane the small overhang as one method of doing this. After finishing the crib, I figure I’ve earned myself a few hours to play in the shop with the new (to me) Veritas low angle jack plane I treated myself to as a reward for the crib.
