A building was just torn down on Polk at Hemlock. That building housed the Hemlock a local watering hole and music venue. Art was always on the exterior. The oldest piece we have is by LA artist Cryptic in 2011 followed by HeraKut. The rest are by SF artists: Steel, Lango, Colman, Henry Lewis, Geso, Nemal, Rotd. This is just a sample.

Britt Hanze mural on the exterior of Jane on Larkin. Difficult to get a good shot between cars and homeless. But don't let that stop you. Jane pastries are worth the trip.
Henze has painted several interior murals, including another one for Jane on Geary. She is drawn to geometric shapes and lines, rendering them in colors she finds both in the city and in nature.
She will be participating in Open Studio in October 25-27 at The Drawing Room on 3260 23rd St. Friday kickoff party 6-9pm. Sat and Sunday. Check her page for details.
