Indulge in guilt-free chocolate goodness with these Skinny Chocolate Brownies. They are lower in fat and sugar while still delivering that rich, chocolatey flavor you crave.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsweetened applesauce. 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt. 1/2 cup cocoa powder. 1/4 cup honey. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup oat flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease an 8x8 inch 20x20 cm baking pan. In a mixing bowl, combine the unsweetened applesauce, plain Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. If desired, fold in the dark chocolate chips into the batter. Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and spread it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean with a few moist crumbs attached. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove them from the pan and let them cool completely on a wire rack. Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares and enjoy!
