Question time???? Super! Well, canon Elora x Cullen: they like pic nic outside Skyhold? How they do for having time only for their ? Avvar Au: is Leo a little jealous that now Elora stays so much with uncle Cullen?

Well, Elora might bring lunch to Cullen when he’s training with the troops outside of Skyhold just to make sure he takes a break. When they go through Ferelden for missions there’s a few impromptu picnics that happen because Elora wants to spend more time with Cullen before they have to return to their duties at Skyhold.

For alone time, they usually play chess and talk because Elora really isn’t that good at it. Or he’ll join her in the mage tower at Skyhold for a quiet evening where they read, sometimes separate books and sometimes reading to each other.

Well, Leo never really gets jealous because it just means Ella is family. And Mia quite enjoys sending Leo over early in the morning to ‘wake’ Cullen and Elora up in the mornings and he greatly enjoys surprising them. And really, Elora still takes care of Leo most days so she’s still spending a lot of time with him, it might just be that Cullen shows up more than before. Which Leo would love all the more because then he gets to see two of his favourite people all the time.

What did Elora think of the holdbeast? And what did Halti think of this new human?

Oh, the hold beast.

Well, honestly, the first time Elora sees Halti, her and Cullen are coming back from a hike outside of the hold or returning from the farms when Cullen points the bear out. They don’t try to approach her as she’s doing her bear thing because well, she is a bear and she’s rather moody with her clan at the moment. Elora thinks she’s quite beautiful though but fully agrees that she should probably keep her distance. She has no desire to get on the bad side of any bear.

Halti...well, honestly it’s a while before she knows Elora is even there. She knows something is going on in the clan but as I said above, she’s not a happy hold beast at the moment. Her favourite bird is gone north and her clan can’t ever seem to be at peace with itself. Most of the time people only catch glimpses of her so they know she’s still alive and okay but it’s a while before she truly rejoins the clan for longer periods of time. As for what she thinks of the Lowlander? Well she’s just another part of the clan by the time Halti officially meets her because by that point she and Cullen are very much together and Elora smells like him so she has to be part of the clan.

On a random note, as moody as she is, I’ve got this scene in my head for way later in the story or possibly even after its done of Elora berry picking when Halti shambles into the field. Elora got the same talk that every child of the hold did about Halti being the hold beast, but also still a bear so its best if you leave her alone (especially given her recent moodiness) so she’s a little spooked when the bear just shows up to eat berries as well. Doesn’t help that by that point Ells’ has got her and Cullen’s first child in a sling across her chest so she’s even more spooked, but she simply stays where she is, keeping an eye on Halti while they both continue to pick berries. Halti is fully aware of Elora being there and might even get close enough to snuffle (that’s not a word, is that a word??) at her and her basket but she’s more just checking up on her and making sure that anything else that might be out in the woods stays far away from her humans.

so you've mentioned in fics and such that tsda!cullen and elora have kids, as do two cousins!cullen and elora. how about in the lowlander? are little ones in the cards? what kind of parents are they? how do they find out elora is pregnant for the first time and how does cullen react?

They most certainly do. Those two will always have their babies no matter the au. All five of them will always show up eventually XD

They aren’t severely strict parents but there are rules that are supposed to be followed and there are consequences to breaking the rules. Since there are five kids, Cullen and Elora seriously need to work together to make sure that they’re on the same page and back each other up when it does come time for anything discipline related. That being said, they do have fun with their kids all the time and it is extremely hard to say no to five little curly haired kids, as Cullen finds out with a goat incident much later on.

As for finding out Elora’s pregnant the first time, well it’s a tad spoilery and later fire dance related. But Cullen is completely thrilled and ecstatic when they find out and the celebration is one of the biggest Sky-Bear Hold has had in a long time.
