Honestly muscinex is the only thing that saves me during my stupid head colds. But I have neither muscinex nor sudafed so I’ll have to suffer with what I’ve got until tomorrow when I can get some. I don’t think I have any pain (generally the head colds and the sinus headaches can’t happen at the same time which is weird idk my head is dumb) <3

You can see he's so done with that side of fandom who are bashing marrish. Like "how many times do we have to say this? Say it with me now kids 'she's 18 and she's done with teenage boys.'" Would they be saying this if Lydia were a guy and Parrish were female?

He is done with that side of the fandom. And most of the ones bashing are in fact styd!a shippers, because he’s mentioned it before in interviews about styd!a shippers sending him death threats or how that he knows that part of the fandom is very ‘passionate’ about their ship and they won’t have it any other way. In fact, Ryan has frequently played down marrish in his interviews for those very reasons most likely. Because he’s tired of the hate. And you can see it in his expression when he answers that question that he’s kind of just saying to himself god, not again. So he said what he said and honestly after hearing that question multiple times I think he answered it just fine. Some people might not think that way, but whatever. Him pointing out that she’s 18 isn’t a defense, but more of a reminder to people who keep forgetting that.

Also, Ryan has talked about the relationship in a lot of good ways as well too. After s4 was over, at a con, I remember someone asked him about marrish and he kept it at the friendship base and even mentioned that she’s 17 still and that would be illegal. He’s mentioned in an interview while s5 was airing that Lydia is much more mature than her other peers, that she’s wise beyond her years and that part of their connection/their relationship is that SHE’S helping him figure out what he is, meaning he’s very vulnerable in this relationship (because she has all the reins) and that she’s helping him go through something that she went through before. (x)

Ryan definitely does not see the relationship like a lot of antis think he does. And tbh, Ryan has said a lot of great things about the relationship like I mentioned above, but of course antis won’t be talking about that. They’ll just pick and choose what sounds good to them and support their baseless arguments.
