Everyone whos involved in the industry: u can only draw conclusions based on whats shown in the show. Poc can play white characters. Teens who have wayyy too much time on their hands: nah, i obviously know more than u. Only after 10 hours of outside research can u decide. Kys. (Some stans got legit mad at the poor guy for stating the obvious)
Shows don't expect you to do outside research to decode hidden messages. They give you some very clear pieces of information which they expect the audience to digest and quickly make conclusions. If they cast a little white boy to play Bellini in flashbacks they are telling you he is coded as white on the show. If they cast Molly Ringwald and Luke Perry to be someone's parents there isn't even room for dialogue in the interpretation that regardless of what the actor's background is, they are playing a white character on the show. Whiteness doesn't count as rep. There's no way around it.
