I started writing this soooooo long ago (pre-covid!😱) and i just made myself laugh reading it back so i really need to finish this 😂. 

The premise is that Harry accepts a drink from a skeevy looking stranger who is OBVIOUSLY up to no good, but he drinks it anyway to make her go away (it’s the british way!). It's based on a prompt spaceboundwitch left on the drarry discord a bajillion years ago.

Here’s an excerpt:

“Get your hands off me!” Malfoy cried, jerking out of reach and batting Harry’s hand away. “What the fuck are you playing at? I mean, I always knew you were a bit of a simpleton, but accepting a drink off a deranged-looking stranger, and then <i>drinking it??</i> Have you no sense of self-preservation?”

Malfoy’s lips were so pink. Slightly parted. Moist, not chapped like Harry’s. Would they feel hot against his skin or would they feel cool from the winter air? His breath came out in little angry puffs. He looked a bit pissed off. Harry wanted to make him feel good, to smooth the furrow in his brow with his tongue. He was fully hard now and he hissed involuntarily as he palmed himself because Malfoy was a fucking walking wet-dream and he couldn’t not touch himself anymore.

“Potter!?” Malfoy yelped, his eyes wide. “What the ever-loving <i>fuck?</i> Have you no decorum?”

If I met you in real life there would be rejoiceful screaming and tight hugs and maybe hugging while also jumping and squealing because screaming while hugging is bad on the ear drums. We’d spend the day together and eat lots of good food and laugh a lot. And we’d talk a lot about how much we love our ships and about fic ideas and things. And when it would finally be time to go I’d probably cry. More tight hugs. Wiping of eyes. “I’m so fucking glad we met. Let’s do it again.” ❤️

Another very special message that I left on my “feel good treats for a rough day” until now, this was a response to the ask meme “what would you do if we met in person” I reblogged the other day. Your answer instantly got me all emo, I’ve been trying to think of a clever or witty line for our first meeting like “finally meeting my smut icon” lmao but jumping and squealing sounds about right, I think I’d either faint or cry at meeting one of my all-time favorite authors and not be very coherent at all 🥺

But once I’m back from cloud nine we’d have so much fun! Talking at length about fic, smut 😌, Hardy, my obsession with Birds’ Dralbus, you’d introduce me to your crew and I’d ask you for recs of queer books, we’d discuss fic ideas, your original work, guilty pleasure ships, exchange favorite playlists and chat about anything else we could think of! Tight hugs and lots of happy tears, then sad tears saying goodbye, then I’d quote a smutty funny line of your fic back to you and we’d laugh our asses off and make plans for our next adventure.

That would be SO NICE ❤️ I hope it happens one day!!!

Definitely finishing my Masters! It was very challenging but somehow I managed to survive and even kept my student grant during the whole program - that was a huge financial relief!

Hello my love, thank you for the ask! I’ve answered this one here and listed some of the fictional characters that made me question my sexuality pretty early on 🤣 I love how universal some of those are, like Xena, Trinity and Chel! I might add that being an avid anime consumer as a kid (Sailor Moon was one of my favourites, with iconic 🏳️‍🌈 representation!) that gave me exposure not only to queer-coded characters but to openly queer characters so I guess I’ve always been familiar with it in a positive light, before I understood how prejudiced society was about it.

20. Which work of yours have you reread the most?

Must be Kill, Fuck, Marry. It was one of the first Drarry fics I wrote. I wrote it for HD Wireless that year and submitted it super early, then I re-read it a lot because 1) it's a funny fic and I tend to laugh at my own jokes and 2) I was so excited to see my first anon fest fic on AO3.

30. Biggest surprise while writing this year?

Mmh this year has been full of surprises, tbh. I didn't expect to write as much as I did (the word count equivalent of three novels!!). I finished the first draft of an original novel. I wrote several plotty fics. I'm in the process of writing another fic while trying to work out a few weak plot points in my novel. Considering I'd started the year feeling empty and uninspired, 2022 turned out to be one of more prolific writing years (here's to 2023 being in the same vein)
