it’s the way carlos visibly gulps

it’s the way tk is screaming for his dad because he just lost his mom he can’t lose his dad too

it’s the way he’s clinging onto every sense of normalcy that he can when he boards that plane and it still gets flipped upside down just like his whole life did

it’s the way he doesn’t care if he makes it home he’s gotta save every last person on that plane so no other family loses someone

it’s the way that i am so ready and not ready for next week
