Honestly I don't know. I know that he's posted a bunch of non-political things on instagram in the last week and I haven't seen them on my dash. People don't seem to be wanting to have his dogs or his thirst traps on their tumblrs right now, and I don't think I would reblog them if I did see them so it seems I am in that camp too at the moment. I know there is a popular update account on twitter who has made a somewhat general statement that they are halting all updates right now because "updates are inconsequential in comparison" to what's happening in the world, but it feels difficult to imagine that choice isn't at least somewhat due to discomfort of being an update account for someone who had a lot to say two weeks ago after a Hamas attack but has had nothing to say about over 8000 victims of clear retaliatorily genocide and war crimes. I know personally several people who are full stop done with him. I know others who are more on the fence. I don't know where I personally stand yet, I am trying to figure that out while also being someone who strongly believes that no one is ever a lost cause and that we should always give space for people to grow and learn and change and be willing to welcome them into our circles once they do. But I also know that I'm not willing to make excuses for genocide, and going back to acting like everything is peachy if nothing changes on his end feels like something I'm not going to be able to square with my own morals. So I just don't know. I wish I had a better answer for you.
