If there’s anyone who understands the concept of the heir and the spare, it’s Destiny. All her life, it’s been “take care of Jason” this and “make sure your brother doesn’t do anything stupid” that. It doesn’t matter that she’s the student body president and a ballet prodigy; Jason comes first, especially after his crash. Instead, she’s stuck playing carpool at the quarry with the knowledge that if Jason gets in trouble again, she’ll get it just as bad.
When six power coins are revealed, Destiny takes the purple one without knowing how much it will change her life. She’s always had to look after her brother, but now she has to take orders from him too? Yeah, that’s gonna go well. Add all that in with the fact that she might really like the new girl, and it’s gonna be an interesting year.

Dear Louis, Today is a day that I love and hate at the same time. I love this day because we celebrate it as the day a star brighter than the brightest star in the sky arrived among us. As he grew up, this bright star spread his glow wherever he went. He kept making people happy, inspired, safe. His own life may have been full of ups and downs but he continued to get lighter the more it got dark...To this day, this star shines so bright that everyone around him can't get enough of it. They never get tired of being in his joyful presence. They admire and adore him like the most precious gift. I wish there was a way to freeze time, so this precious star would never grow old, so we could have him for an eternity. Unfortunately, time flies no matter what. I can't believe it's been 25 years! So yeah I hate that today marks the addition of another year, but after all this time he still glows like he always has, as if somehow time fails to make him grow up! Louis, I can't thank you enough for being an angel on earth; for everything you've done, for me, for us, for so many people; for just existing. You're too good for this world, so good that the world doesn't know how to repay you. I don't know the words that could describe how much you mean to all of us. All I can say is, never change.
