ever since the announcement dropped i cant Not think abt eow's zelda joining the chain like rationally? probably legend's hyrule, also just like. Wouldn't Happen but also. if it's a seperate hyrule and it does happen, THE WHIMSY??? THE ABSOLUTE SILLINESS THAT WOULD PURSUE??? post-totk wild and echo (eow zelda) would be the absolute worst together /pos. (and on this train of thought, i do wonder if she could make an echo of wild since he died. everyones speedrunning gray hairs baybee)
EOW Link and Zelda—LU Master Discussion Post
Well, hello my mutuals and LU Tumblr Community. I've noticed that there's been some strife on people commenting opinions and theories about the newest Legend of Zelda game on other's posts, leading some people to be attacked or even blocked (like myself)
Here is the right place for a civil community-wide discussion, if you wish to have it. If you believe it's actually LU Legend and Fable, I'd like to open up this place to everyone here to openly discuss why or how. I've seen a few comments in that naming poll similarly shot down like mine, so I'd like to try to gather them here in order to keep from clogging up that original post and continuing to bother that creator. If you think that it's not Legend, but another Link, I'd love to hear your theories, any name suggestions and your reasoning behind them (I'm loving Rift right now), how you think he and his Zelda will relate to the rest of the Chain, etc. If any of my moots know of any good analyses already floating around tumblr, I’d love to have them linked or mentioned here so that others can find them. And heck, if you think we should wait until the game comes out to start naming, feel free to say your piece here too. Just a reminder, let’s keep this a fun, supportive place where we can come together, enjoy and discuss one another's theories, and share our appreciation of Nintendo and Jojo’s work together.

Very very short 363 words fic of Legend rejoining the chain after getting sent back to his time for the start of EoW. Thank you Echoes of Wisdom <3 I love you Echoes of Wisdom
It’s been 100 days since Legend had been separated from the group. They had all gone through the same portal-they all saw that Legend was the first to proudly walk through it. But on the other side, he wasn’t there, they couldn’t find him. No matter how hard they looked, no matter how hard they tried, it was all for nothing.
They had to move on. Those black blooded wouldn’t let up. They had to march forward, clutching onto their courage with all they had.
They always walked hand in hand through the portals after that. They had to stay connected throughout time, to stay linked throughout the universe. They may had mourned the presence of their missing Link, but mourning does nothing. All they could do was pray for him to be alright. To be in his own time, safe and sound.
Then he fell down right in front of them.
The chain were in an inn, debating on what their next course of action would be. The shadowy beast they were up against only got stronger and more difficult to deal with as time passed on. They needed to kill it now, or they could never even dream to strike it down.
A rip in time and space open up above them. They all scrambled for their swords, watching as a pair of feet emerged from the portal, running in place. Then the legs came, then the torso, then the arms with a bow in their hands. Finally, the head crossed through, and the figure fell onto the hard, wooden ground.
“Veteran!” Multiple shouts rang out. For everyone, from no one, all towards to figure. A beaten and tired Legend lay on the ground. Tears were streaming from his eyes. He could barely muster the energy to open his mouth, but he spoke anyways. He wanted to comfort his brothers, even though he was barely aware they were even there.
“Zelda,” his breath stuttered, soon turning into uneven laughter, “I saved her…I freed her in the end.”
Legend passed out in his brothers’ arms. All he dreamt of was of his Zelda, with her meeting his brothers. Everyone was happy.
I don't know if anyone else has talked about this, but I really like the idea of nicknaming the Link and Zelda from Echoes of Wisdom, Rift and Wisdom respectively. Obviously this only applies if it is confirmed to be a new Link and not Legend.
Link is always called the Hero of Courage, right? So it would make sense to call Zelda the Hero of Wisdom. This would probably change if she gets her own proper Hero title. I'm just not the biggest fan of calling her Echo because I feel like it once again makes her a pale comparison to Link within her own game.
I want to call Link "Rift" mostly because it's funny and I think he and Zelda would joke about it afterwards honestly. Also imagine him meeting the Chain, him not having a hero title, and him just going, "You can call me Rift." They all look at each other, visibly confused. Rift and Wisdom are trying to hold in their laughter until Wars or Time ask the reasoning behind the nickname. Rift then explains that he was sucked into a rift made by Ganon, causing Wisdom to have to rescue him.
i need someone to yell abt rift to but i dont want to spoil kay if someone is open to yapping *grabby hands* i need to scream
