Sky / skyloft headcanons !! World building and such and angst
- due to skylofts small size I can imagine that growing food can be a hassle and if anything happened to the crops the results could be devastating. This led some people to raid other islands out of desperation. And that’s why they built the knights academy to people had protection.
- Skys parents were both knights so when their island was hit with a raid they were two of the first out there but were killed during the battle.
- Sky was only little and avoided people out of fear and guilt , not wanting to be a drain on them , only leaving his home to spend time with his loftwing. The adults spent weeks trying to convince and later on catch the kid so they could make sure he was ok but eventually they just had to resort to leaving food out for him so he could at least eat.
-but then he met Zelda , at first it was the same, but over time Zelda finally gained his trust ( worm him down ) and showed him that he wasn’t a burden
-so he started accepting help and accepting peoples offers , wither it was dinner or a spare bed . They made it clear their doors were always open to him.
- that’s why he’s so comfortable with just walking into other peoples homes and using their beds in game. He’s just became everyone’s kid. Wither it’s bother , friend , son or grandson , he’s someone to everyone and Skyloft looks after their own.
