Wild had definitely been preparing that apology for a while now. After his monologue in the woods do you think he practiced with the frog listening in or maybe ran it by Twilight before he left?
Seriously, look at the boy when he realised Four only called him aside to give him his new sword. Like...did Four ominously say he wanted to meet him later on before leaving to fix the sword? Maybe Wild had been preparing for round two of their square up.
That said, going out of his way to mend the sword was probably Four's way of apologising.
...ngl a little disappointed we didn't get a montage of the blacksmithing team doing their thing.
Twilight’s a showoff.
Thinking back to TP, where he’d strike a heroic pose with Epona after befelling King Bulblin on the bridge, or when he wrangled Epona in front of everyone in Kakariko village. He looked so cool even Midna commented on it.
So, if given the chance to do something cool in front of the chain, especially Time or his mentee Wild, then he’d take it. And enjoy the attention. Not that he’ll admit this to Warriors.
