[ ♫ ] — Despite his assurance, the concern was more than evident on the blonde’s features; it couldn’t be helped really that when it came to Luca she tended to worry more than she usually might — after all he’d always be so innocent, it wasn’t unusual for her to still feel a little protective over him, and she knew if it were her, he’d be concerned too; that was just how close the two were anyway.

 ✗ It was kind of ironic that the most innocent of the trio changed this much. People would have assumed that Aki would be the one to snap completely but it hadn't been like that. Aki knew when he had to hold himself back and not to lose himself. Besides his brother promised a few people that he wouldn't lose himself completely and Luca knew his brother. He always kept promises.

Shaking his head free from the thoughts of his brother - where did that even come from - he focused his attention back to the blond musician in front of him. Luca stayed silent for a while not saying anything his red eyes solely focused on his friend and crew mate. As well as family member.

"I am careful. Otherwise I would be dead."

"So you are Aki's girlfriend?" the zoan fruit user asked eyeing the marine and scoffing. After the war Luca hated most of them and he didn't really like it that Aki was in a relationship with the huntress. But it was his brothers decision. It didn't make him like it any better though.

"Luca." Nele scolded her brother and sighed softly. "Aki was talking a lot about you. It's nice to finally meet you. I sure do hope you won't try to hunt us right now because all we want is to talk a bit with you and to get to know you because our brother seems to hold you in high regards."

"Altought it is a mystery that Aki got a girlfriend at all if you think about how he acts towards others. How the heck can you stand that guy and be his girlfriend at the same time if you haven't known him over a few years?" Mia asked curiously and looked at the huntress with great interest.

It had been a while that Luca was cornered like this. He didn't want to use it but he had no choice if he wanted to go back and keep the promise to stay alive today and even though Luca was a bit suicidal he always kept his promises. He may have changed over time but this one thing didn't. When Luca promised something he intended to keep it.

And so the zoan fruit user turned into his full animal form and from then on the marines weren't as cocky as before. It was a massacre. Luca was killing them left and right - without any mercy or without regard to the wounds he was getting himself. The flames - foxfire how people liked to call it - closed his wounds. It hurt like hell of course but as long as he was able to continue to slaughter these bastards and his friends got away he was fine with that.

Luca had changed over time and so had Rosa. Those two had either kept to themselves or to each other. Luca had even avoided his siblings. Most of them. Sometimes he could keep company with them and sometimes he just disappeared for a while and was mostly alone. 

Now he was sitting back to back with the blonde musician because she had wanted to be alone with him for a while - Luca didn't know the reason - but he didn't question her.

"So.. what is it you want to talk about Rosa..?"

Luca didn’t expect to run into the redheaded female again after two years. It had been a brief encounter after all. Luca had forgotten about her until now.. until they met again. His red eyes looked at her void of any real emotion - two years ago they were sparkling with innocence and life.. but now? That glimmer was gone. Those eyes didn't show any mercy or compassion to anyone.

"Eustass /Captain/ Kid. I didn't think I'd meet you again."
