I made some (clearly unofficial) maps from The Curse of Monkey Island (TM) from Lucasart because it may be old, but it's still one of my fav games ever (sorry, Lara, you get to be second!) Hand sketched with a fountain pen and aged with the usual mix of black tea, coffee and oven. And I still have no idea about cartography, sorry!

Gareth's Weekly Video Game Recommendation #12
I play a lot of games. Some, everyone has played. Others, not so much.
I'll be listing one game per week, that I have played and believe it deserves more attention. If you have already played it, then that's great! If you haven't, then you might as well.
Name: Star Wars: Republic Commando Genre: Sci-Fi First Person Shooter Developer: LucasArts Publisher: LucasArts, LucasFilm, & Disney Engine: Unreal Engine Length: 17 Hours if played on the hardest difficulty Singleplayer? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
Star Wars: Republic Commando is an excellent classic FPS video game developed by LucasArts and is still one of my all-time favourites. Star Wars: Imperial Commando was supposed to be the critical sequel to the first game but it was cancelled shortly after some concept art was created, back in 2004, whilst they were also developing the original in question.
In Star Wars: Republic Commando you take control of four clones from the elite Delta Squad. You play through the perspective of RC-1138 (known simply as Boss) and fight your way through perilous missions across Geonosis, a Republic assault ship known as the Prosecutor, and Kashyyyk whilst accompanied by your brothers RC-1140 (Fixer), RC-1207 (Sev), & RC-1262 (Scorch).
Through the systematic use of a profound squad command system, your brothers will expertly out-maneuver enemies with the push of a button. If you feel as if the single-player campaign wasn't enough, you may swap to multiplayer battles consisting of 2-16 other players. Although Star Wars: Republic Commando was no longer considered canon to the Star Wars universe, as a bonus, this game technically takes place as a prelude to Episode III.
Lastly, EA has yet to touch this game. Thus, all the more reason to enjoy it now before there comes the haymaker for being overpriced & the inclusion of in-game purchases. Ah, but do be aware that the mouse speed in the main menu is more aggressive than EA's lust for money.

I'm lawfully obligated to draw every bastard Au'ra that's sent to me. It's called being a fucking genius though.
If you like my art, consider reblogging it! Thanks <3
