Hi! Just wanted to say that I really love watching your gif tutorials, it's always so cool to see what everyone's different process is and learn from it. Like for example I always leave conversion to timeline and smart object and sharpening as the very last thing I do when I make gifs, I don't even know where I learned that from but it's just the habit I've formed and watching your tutorial I was like oh? You can do it earlier too? How cool! Also I always feel like I should be taking notes when you explain how you work with the text in gifs, I'm always learning new things from it!
Hii! Ahh thank you so much! I'm so glad you like watching them 😊 and ohhh omg right, it’s so interesting learning all of the different ways people do their gifs! Also that’s so funny to me because I didn’t even think that people do the conversion to timeline stuff differently! And oooh omg 😭 that’s so crazy that you’re learning new things from my tutorials haha, I’m glad to help lol! I love your blog so much, btw!! Always providing us with that lumax content LOL
i wanna play too!!!! please!!!!
Joe Keery in “Henry Gamble’s Birthday Party” (2015)
Oh I love a good old-fashioned ask game! 2, 5 and 7 please! ☺️
2.) What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?
Most recently I watched Marty Supreme in theaters and I really enjoyed it! I loved the setting of the Lower East Side in the 1950s, I thought Marty was an interesting and complex character to watch, and the story was absurdist in the best way possible. The cinematography was stunning and overall I really, really loved it!
5.) What's your drink of choice? (Coffee/tea order, alcohol of choice, pop, etc)
Oh my gosh, what isn't my drink of choice? I love chai, black tea, green tea, chamomille tea, peppermint tea, flavored and unflavored lattes, and some good old drip coffee with whole milk. Oh, and water. Special shoutout to my girl Orangina who I stock up on every chance I get.
I drink too, but that's mostly to get drunk haha
7.) What's your favorite mode of travel? Is there a mode of travel that you haven't done that you want to experience?
I'm assuming this is talking about transportation? I love trains so much and spacing out on them to answer asks on Tumblr (LOL). Maybe going on a spaceship would be cool if they didn't use so much fuel (jk)
Ask me simple asks to bolster ask culture!
12, 13 and 26 for the fic writer ask game!
12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?
Amnesia fic!
I still can't really read it unless I really trust the author OR I skip to the end and it feels like the happy will outweigh the misery.
But for writing? I have found that it's kind of fun to write it myself (and it's safe because I write within my own limits).
13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?
"They were roommates" maybe?
It's hard to think of something I used to like and don't anymore. I've been reading fic for so long now, I'm sure my tastes have changed without me even realizing it a bunch.
I don't hate this trope, but it doesn't really do anything for me.
26. Would you rather write a fic that had no dialogue or one that was only dialogue?
No dialogue, for sure. I heard recently that some people find introspection patronising, but fuck em. I love being in the character's head, experiencing what they're feeling. And dialogue is the bane of my existence. I'm bad at it and I know my fics show that so I like when I can get a break from it.
Also, I've written a fic (maybe more than one) without any dialogue before :D
