About the Mark Chubbs story [important psa/ please read]

Okay, so at first I thought about her( you/ main character) anorexic and then Mark helping her through everything and making her realize that she doesn’t need to change herself to be loved. Then I realized I don’t wanna get that dark right now. I might right something like that (I will put warning and all that so don’t worry!)

Then I wanted to write about her getting thin in the story, getting the guy, getting the last laugh and all that.

Then I realized that I haven’t read many stories with a chubby main character and an idol loving her even if she was chubby.

Here’s a fact that authors need to realize: fat/ chubby/ overweight people exist

Another fact: Fat/chubby/overweight people find love. And it isn’t just with “fat lovers”.

This is coming former overweight/obese person. I was obese and some guys still liked people.

Not many but the ones who aren’t superficial and look deeper into a person.

Another truth: Not everyone will like you.

Like I said, I used to be obese. Like for a majority of my life. I was plus size up until middle school and a year into middle school I lost some weight and all of a sudden I wasn’t invisible and people liked me. A lot.

But people are shitty, even when we’re really young.

Chubby people do find love. I realized how much better I can make the story if I make the main character chubby and the guy likes her, AND she stays chubby through the whole story.

I’m still deciding what route I’m gonna take with this story but I think I’m leaning more towards something that could happen (like someone falling for you even when you aren’t conventionally attractive). So that’s all I had to say!
