I was thinking about all the shenanigans that the post-ending Jin household will go about, and the one scenario that has me absolutely laughing is when Xiaoyu is older and starts to get suitors.

That poor unfortunate soul will be sitting there, shaking on their boots, facing three scary uncles highly trained in martial arts, two of them rumored to be assassins. Then they'll have to face her brother, who might seem nice but is looking at them like they're a specially annoying insect (and is he pouting?). And to make matters worse, there's the brother's wife (yes, Xiaoyu said he's her brother's wife) who is probably the most beautiful person they've ever seen (besides Xiaoyu of course!) but looks like he's gonna straight up kill them.

im also fucking tired of animation remakes into "live action" when really is just cgi ANIMATION. it's dumb. i get enjoying a movie, but what was wrong with all the originals? clearly nothing if you're remaking them? it's like all they're saying is the animation and work that went into the first film is irrelevant because it won't move people the same way a cgi animated will smith will. or maybe dumbo will be a bigger hit this time because the flying elephant looks more real.

please fucking get over yourselves disney.

Rant Time

Incoming rant so if you don’t want to read it keep scrolling.

This pisses me off to no end. If you are going to send a request to someone do not send it to multiple people. That is such bullshit. The only time that is acceptable is if the writer says they can’t do it. Other than that DON’T DO IT. It is a really shitty thing to do. Because guess what your screwing over the writer. It causes conflict and frankly in my cause makes me want to say screw requests. I love doing requests and the fact that someone would do something that shitty is infuriating. Each and every writer has to put time and effort into their work. And it’s a real slap in the face to be told that someone else wrote the same exact thing that you did, especially when it’s a friend. Not only does that cause problems but it can damage a writers reputation. So just don’t. As you can see I’m pissed off because this just happened and it is absolutely unacceptable. So I will say it louder for the people in the back. DON’T SEND THE SAME REQUEST TO MULTIPLE AUTHORS, IT IS SHITTY, SO JUST DON’T!!!

I’m so sad that we ain’t getting any ‘Meet you at the blossom’, so here’s my wishlist if I was in charge of merch (to whoever is actually in charge, feel free to run away with these):

Production/character book: you know, that kind of book with info about the series, characters, their outfits, the sets, interviews, etc. I love costuming and I’d LOVE to have full pics of all the costumes.

Mini dolls/plushies: PLEASE, who do I need to sell my soul for this? They are never a miss, and always so CUTE. I’m 5 min away from buying a plushie diy kit and making my own.

MORE wearable apparel: The September meeting has Xiaobao’s bracelets, but give me more!!! Xiaobao alone can inspire a whole collection with his hair accessories, the little bells, etc. Hair clips inspired on the huaibao headbands. The bracelets from Que SiMing and JinBao. Textiles like t-shirts, scarves, even bags inspired by characters colors/patterns. Tiny earrings with the crimson dahlia. Keychains inspired in Xiaobao’s bell collar. Possibilities are endless.

And the most important thing: a DVD/BLURAY set!: the thing I want the most. I’d HATE for myatb to become lost media. Give me this nice full set with the pretty box and goodies, bloopers, the special episodes, and maybe even a director’s cut! It’ll be also a good way to retouch anything that they missed or didn’t have the time to before the series aired.

Again, this is just my delusional mind just wishing we had merch, none of this is in production, but I’m happy to be proven otherwise :D
