A Tiny Update
Sorry about the lack of updates.
I’ve been rushing to get work done before the school year ends. June 3rd is my last day this year and I will continue working on my online computer science class until the 15th.

Redid Doki & Mewie's sprite and I'm playing around with palette swaps too.
The main enemies of the game, the Insomniacs. This one is quite a bit shorter than his fellow Insomniac Grunts, so we’ll call him an Insomniac Runt.
Hey, what a sharp hat that one’s wearing! Most Insomniacs won’t be sporting such cool headgear so maybe… This one is special somehow?
We stop uy our offices to drop by and say ‘hello’ to our secretary, Morgan!
She’s in charge of “organizing” papers and important documents. And by “organizing” we mostly mean laying on them.
If all goes as planned she’s also slated to do some voice acting work! But if we can’t get her to stay still to provide the voice samples we have a professional cat impersonator on the team. Well, as professional as a cat impersonator can be, anyway. That’s me, LuciDirector! Yes, VA will be one of my various duties on this project.
Who or WHAT is LuciDev?
Who or what AREN’T we?!?…
Just kidding, LuciDev is the name of the studio behind Doki-Mewie. Of course, we haven’t trademarked that or anything so nothing is permanent as of yet. Just don’t be a jerk and trademark it before we do. :P
Another acceptable name to call us is Dream Machine since we are making dreams with our machines, but… we’ll have to talk about that later… ;)
As for me, the guy who’s been posting these posts, for now you can call me “LuciDirector”. Since, after all, I’m the guy who first came up with the concepts behind Doki-Mewie and this summer I plan to start putting those concepts into game form. Of course, there are others on this “dream team” but you’ll learn more about them later.
The Town of... Sleptin?
Yep. Doki & Mewie awake in the outskirts of this town. A mysterious place covered in fog where everything is connected to and ran by clockwork. Everything is timed and it’s all tied together with the centerpiece of the town: the Sleptin Clocktower, which, interestingly enough, is sitting atop the ancient temple of the SandNyan Society.
Who Are Those Cat Guys On Your Header?
Those are monks of the SandNyan group, a secret-ish society whose temple is in Sleptin, the main hub of the game.
In fact, the town of Sleptin was built around their temple.
