Imma babble about Lucifer!Sam for a minute here...bear with me.
So a while ago on Reddit I was discussing the differences in interpretations of Lucifer by the actors and I made this comment: “I think the personality differences are probably because when (Lucifer) was in Nick (--redacting side rant about Crowley building a Nick Suit and how it’s not even Nick later on, as a poor plot mechanic and bad writing--) Nick was kind of melting and struggling with containing him.
Once he was in Sam he did not have to deal with his Vessel crumbling.
Nick was a chronic pain meat suit, Sam was perfect Vessel with no distracting pain.
Think of it like spoons analogy.
Nick was about a dozen spoons.
Sam is a spoon warehouse, in a factory town, where all anyone does is makes spoons, called Spoonville (home of the world's largest ball of spoons).
That shit affects your personality and interactions.“
Jared seems to understand this very well and rolls out a smooth, in control, Lucifer. There is no pain or desperation, he is not dealing with “non-perfect” vessel. He’s in the body designed specifically for him to use and control and rule the world from.

Sidenote about the glowing eyes:
At this point in the show, it is a well established fact that Angels’ eyes glow when they are using their powers. In The End Lucifer does not use his powers but once, and that was to teleport a short distance behind Dean, we don’t really see him actually use his power, he is just shown to have moved.
In 15x05 we see him actively heal his bullet wound and then set Dean on fire, so we see his eyes glow. And the color intensity being so much more pure red could be ascribed to the perfect vessel made of spoons theory. Nick was a lot of effort to hold together for Lucifer, Sam is made for him. All of Lucifer’s power is available for use because none of it is being wasted on keeping Nick from exploding.
