Original story by sarcastically-defensive17
Loki has the power to captivate a room when she stepped inside. Her long, pale legs, the dark hair that cascaded around her form and the striking emerald eyes that made Y/N feel weak in the knees.
Loki was a name feared by many, especially following the attempted enslavement of the entire human race, but Y/N couldn’t draw herself away from the dichotomy of ferocity and intriguing innocence that was the asgardian woman.
Babe, there's something tragic about you, something so magic about you. Don't you agree?
Loki was magical in more than her sorcery. She was captivating, intelligent and she had every capability to pull Y/N along by a string, as the woman was weak for the goddess.
They met in a bookstore. Loki commanded the attention of the room with such power that Y/N felt goosebumps erupt at the sound of her dulcet voice.
“Excuse me, could you direct me towards the mythology tomes?” Her voice was silky, a thick British accent flowing from her pink lips.
Y/N was at a loss for words, instead choosing to nod and take herself in the direction.
She waited while the tall woman surveyed the books, and chose to take the opportunity to survey her.
There was something about the well dressed woman that screamed that she preferred to be on her own. She had an air of authority and privilege and Y/N found herself longing to find out more about the woman.
Babe, there's something lonesome about you, something so wholesome about you. Get closer to me.
Loki was enamored by the woman, against her better judgement. She was a goddess, yet she fell for a midgardian as hard as a Valkyrie falling from the heavens.
Y/N was seductive in the most innocent way. The goddess found herself more and more mesmerized with each passing moment they spent with each other.
“You hold a certain innocence that I wish I held onto in my youth,” she whispered to her love as they lay curled in Y/N’s bed. “You are something entirely hypnotic, darling.”
Her words never failed to make Y/N blush.
Loki was Unlike anybody she had met or been with before. She was chivalrous, polite, charismatic, enchanting. It was no surprise to Y/N that she was in love with a goddess, for she already viewed Loki as such, and she viewed Y/N in the same way.
Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago. Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword. Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know.
Y/N did not judge Loki’s past. She compared her to the angel Lucifer, who fell from grace and became something most deemed atrocious, but he was merely a product of his situation.
“No person is born evil, my love,” she would tell her, holding her face in her hands and kissing her softly.
“I am no person,” Loki would reply, attempting to build up her walls.
“No, you’re my goddess. You’re my snake from Eden, and I would not have you any other way.”

Loki knew the relationship would cause her a great deal of pain, for midgardians did not live for centuries as the gods did, but she could not bear to give Y/N up. She would bear the pain of losing her in many years, if she could continue to bring a smile to the face of her lover.
She was something so precious to Loki. Never had the goddess been so captured by a significant other. Never had she given her heart to another with such intensity, and never had she received a heart in return.
Their relationship was doomed for destruction, but it was inestimable in worth for both women.
Babe, there's something wretched about this. Something so precious about this. Where to begin?
Loki had the power to make Y/N forget about everybody else in the world. All of her past lovers, those who caused her strife, those who criticized her and their relationship. They all faded to background noise when she caught the emerald eyes of the woman.
It was as if they were the only two people in the universe as they lay together on a picnic blanket, gazing at dark sky and far away land that Loki once called home.
Now her home was on Midgard, in the form of the woman she loves.
To the strand, a picnic planned for you and me. A rope in hand for your other man to hang from a tree.
Loki would give the universe to her love. She had no need for the throne of Asgard when she had her queen by her side always.
Her fall from grace was worth it in her eyes, for it led her to where she truly belongs.
In the arms of the woman she holds so dearly.
“You are as Eve was, in the garden of Eden,” Loki told her, placing a high praise upon her head. “To me, you are the only woman on earth.”
“And you, my dear, are the tempting snake from Eden, my angel in disguise.”
