COMMISSION N#1

Lucille and Danse are about to fucking destroy some enemies. A commission done for the awesome @prezs ! You can go check their Fallout blog to @metalforhands :3 I was happy to draw these two, pretty funny job;

my part for @hydroflorix's fallout 4 10th anniversary map! it was such an honor to work on this project with so many skilled artists!

i got an instrumental part, and since my sole survivior, lucille, was a skilled pre war pianist, it was a very fitting assignment! i've always loved the contrast between the sole survivor's pre-war life compared to their post-war one. it's all so very tragic, but i'd like to think, despite everything, moments of happiness are fleeting, but also the most freeing.

the frames for my part can be found below, as well as the sheet music i wrote up for its main melody.

written in c and to be played with a jazz swing. i would have adjusted the key to avoid typing out all of those accidentals, but for the purposes of the video (where the key signature wouldn't be seen for too long), i wanted to just make it simple.

it’s lucille’s birthday today! i didn’t have much time to do something nice for her (the semester is starting to pick up a bit haha) so i wanted to at least draw something quick!

pre-war human stuck in cryogenic freeze for over 200 yrs and escaped android with the memories of a human orphan is an... odd duo, huh?
