"The Fall of the Rebel Angels"

carved from a single piece of Carrara marble in 1740 by the Italian sculptor Agostino Fasolato, figures 60 fallen angels.

It draws inspiration from the verses of John, in the Apocalypse, where he tells of a fierce war that took place in heaven, in which Michael and his angels fight against Lucifer and his rebel companions, who fall and fall to hell.

Almost 2 meters tall.

Practice, practice, practice. I'm still not happy with this Lucipher I made the other day...he looks so much different in my mind. On the other hand I like the background a lot - I wanted to put the character in color scheme of the dawn since Lucipher is a morning star. I also couldn't decide on the variant so have two others I've painted. I hope you'll like him anyways.

irrevocably damaging all with its blinding radiance.

the moon illuminated solely at the expense of

the sun’s exhaustive efforts to always

shine as its life depends on it.
