Fluff Alphabet (Magna, Luck, and Gauche)
This was SO much fun! I love these 3 a lot (even if Gauche can be a bit...much sometimes). The fluff alphabet is such a fun prompt, and I really enjoy that I’m getting more Black Clover requests as well!
A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
Magna honestly loves to do all sorts of things with his s/o. Long rides on his Crazy Cyclone, playing a little Baseball, Training, or even just hanging out at the hideout. Unfortunately, because of his constant losing streak with gambling, he can’t really afford to do anything spectacular or even expensive; so dates often consist of taking a ride out to an area with a nice view (probably some place Finral recommended), and having a picnic (with food Charmy generously gave to him, and a bottle of wine stolen from Vanessa). Just spending the night talking, laughing, and being together is really what he craves when he gets free time to spend time with them.
L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
Magna is a MESS before he confesses. He’s probably asked every single Black Bull for some form of advice, not being able to really think of how to do it or what to say. He’s supposed to be a man—someone tough and confident enough to come out and say how he feels, like the Captain would, but he’s just so incredibly nervous.
If he’s lucky enough not to have one of his teammates (*ahem* Luck) say something before him, he would try to plan something super spectacular and (probably) a little corny. The best idea he has (and winds up doing) is asking his crush to join him on the Crazy Cyclone for a little ride. When he gets to a secluded area, he would cast a fire magic spell which created a big, fiery heart that would explode into some fireworks. Afterwards, he’d tell them that he’s in love with them, trying his hardest to maintain some cool composure (and somewhat failing).
M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?
He’s never really considered it, but he would love to marry his s/o one day. His hope is that he could have a small ceremony involving his family from the Black Bulls; something that they could all put their own touches onto and make special for his s/o and him.
Magna would love to propose as soon as the thought started to cross his mind. The only thing holding him back is that he couldn’t afford an engagement ring for them. It’s his duty to do it though, so he would do whatever he could to earn enough Yule to afford something nice for them. Ultimately, as much as he would love to make his proposal really spectacular; he would find the urge to do it in a very calm, and casual moment. Just his s/o and him, enjoying some time together, when he would just blurt out “Will you marry me?”. He’d be taken aback by it himself, until his partner accepts.
Being married to him wouldn’t be much different than dating him though. He’ll find himself somehow falling for his partner each day, and would do what he could to make sure he could provide for them and protect them. He does love calling them his husband/wife/spouse, and would use that term as often as he could
Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
Due to his fire attribute, he runs hotter than most people. He is like a human heater, so he really gives the best cuddles. He’s a very tactile person in general, and would love if his s/o cuddled up to him and absorbed his warmth, all while giving him their affection. He would get really flustered at first, but it just makes him happy that he could be affectionate with his partner like that. Would kill anyone that teased him about it.
F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
Fighting with Luck is...interesting. Having a disagreement with him could escalate to some death match that Luck instigated in order to prove who was right or wrong. While he wouldn’t *actually* kill or hurt his s/o, he thrives off of having a one on one magic battle to really get their blood pumping and vent their frustrations. He isn’t opposed to actually talking the problem out, but it’s not nearly as fun as actually throwing hands with the person he loves, testing their strength and magic compatibility together. He would be very quick to forgive though, not really finding much reason to hold a grudge.
O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
Luck is a bit hard to read in general, his constant joy and smile being confusing for anyone. When he’s in love, it doesn’t really seem like much has changed on the surface level. He would for sure focus more of his time on the person he loves—asking to fight with them, offering to go on missions together. Other than that? No one would really even notice it. It would take Luck actually stating how he feels for anyone to actually get it. When he does express how he feels though, he’s very casual and upfront about it, and isn’t afraid to speak his mind. Something about him seems brighter after a while; a larger smile on his face, his eyes almost sparkling. Anyone who knows him well enough would notice those subtle little tells.
X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
He can really be above and beyond affectionate. He would fly around the base giving little kisses to his s/o every chance he got, holding their hand, giving them huge, almost crushing hugs. He sometimes would even make it a competition, seeing who could be more affectionate in a day. He loves to really be affectionate during battles, taking some heat of the moment mid-fight kisses. At night though, when he can be a little quieter, he loves holding his s/o close and just snuggling them like crazy. He’s almost like a baby koala, just latching onto them and never letting go.
Z eal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
Luck would be willing to go any length for his relationship. He has been through so much in his life, and lost someone important to him. Just like he would go great lengths for his squad mates, he would go even further for the person he loves. He wouldn’t even hesitate to kill someone for them, or battle an army of people for them. He is in his relationship for the long haul, and would do anything to make sure his partner is protected, loved, and constantly knows just how much he cares for them.
C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
When Gauche cares for someone, he wants nothing more than to see them happy. So, when his s/o is upset, to the point of even having a panic attack, he would do anything in his power to make them smile again. Blowing money on an extravagant gift (or gifts), telling them stories of fun things him and Marie have done, showing them pictures Marie has drawn for them, cloning himself to make them laugh. If none of that works, he’s more than happy to be a shoulder to cry on; bringing comfort by offering just to listen to their problems and being a comforting presence. It’s more than likely that once he can bring them some sense of peace, that he would take his aggression and frustrations out on some poor unsuspecting criminals—angry that they were unhappy in the first place. And god forbid someone actually was the cause of their pain, because they’ve just signed their death sentence.
H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
Gauche would be honest and upfront about most things with his partner. He isn’t afraid to share who he is, what he’s about, and his goals in life. He can even be brutally honest about his feelings. The only thing that he would hesitate on is talking about what life was like for him and Marie before he became a Magic Knight. It would take a lot of trust on his part to be willing to share something like that with them, and after some time, he would even be willing to open up and share that part of his story with them as well.
K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
While a little awkward at first, Gauche would somehow be a naturally good kisser. The first kiss would be after a date, something romantic, beautiful, and even expensive—something that his s/o deserved. After showering them in compliments, spoiling them with affection and gifts, and showing them the best time he possibly could, he would give them a light and gentle first kiss to round out the night. Something soft, and extremely tender that they both could melt into and remember forever. Probably had a nosebleed after.
W ild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon
Gauche remembers everything about his s/o. Little stories they’ve told him, passing comments about things they like, details about their life that could be almost impossible to remember, he will memorize it. He retains these facts so easily; it would be almost like they were his own memories. The best thing about this is it enables him to not only find special and wonderful ways to spoil them in the future, but he is also very keen on remembering things like anniversaries, dates, and firsts. He would happily celebrate each of these things with his s/o, giving gifts that resemble a small detail about said event.
