“ Duh. I think you tore my eardrum ”, it sounded like he was complaining as he inspected his nails with boredom written all over his face ー but once he glanced up to Komaeda, a toothy grin tugged on his lips and he added: “ But do ya really think the perfect birthday present for me doesn’t have confetti canons? Komaeda-chan’s nuts but he sure knows how to play his game strong! ”

After the student lounge had previously been covered in joker play cards by Celestia, it now had also gotten showered in glaring, colourful confetti befitting of an entertainer like him. He had asked Komaeda to prepare this room for his surprise party later and against his expectations, he didn’t disappoint. To anyone else it would be ridiculously over the top, but Ouma loved it!

“ Nishishi... that’s a job more than well done! Now let’s get down to business. ”

✩ ANONYMOUS ( OR NOT ) VALIDATION.   @luckjunkie   /   Oh,  GOOD,  a chance to talk about another Komaeda!   Where’s that one Lady Gaga gif?  Oh yeah,  here it is.   It’s very sad to me when really we’re all just here to have fun and escape reality,  and embellish characters from series we care about,  yet people can be so bitter towards “doubles”.   I understand the anxiety it can bring,  and I understand the human propensity to compare,  but I think everybody can ultimately choose to look beyond that and push for something better — Which is to look at a mun who writes the same character and think of them as being someone you have something awesome in common with.   I’ll be honest,  my “fear” with doubles is nothing to do with comparison,  rather I see it as “oh no,  is this person going to exclude me and block out my existence and see me as a rival without reason?  That’s not a fun environment to be in and I don’t want that”.   So,  I am VERY happy this mun has not done that,  and they decided to stick around.   They seem like a warm individual.  I have not had the pleasure of interacting with them  ( yet!  )  but I am always open to threads involving two of the same muse,  or just ooc interaction is fine by me also.   I have,  however,  had the pleasure of seeing them around on the dash and what a superb talent they possess when it comes to character accuracy & creativity.   They capture Nagito how I perceive him,  and that’s exciting to me.   Got nothing but good things to say about this mun and I thank them for not plunging me into rpc despair.   I will always value those who are inclusive and let everybody thrive.

Ouma’s voice sounded exasperated as if he was offended by Komaeda hanging up on him, despite the logical reason behind it. Oh, he almost had him ー 

Instead of a normal ringtone cutting through the air, it was a distorted, deranged version of “Take On Me” that more or less resembled the feeling one probably had while getting driven over by a truck. At least that was what he had in mind when thinking of Komaeda after that one day a truck had taken over the job of ironing Komaeda’s jacket flat as a pancake.

With the corners of his mouth twitching, he slowly lifted his phone, picked up and placed it close to his ear. A hand covered his mouth before he spoke:

“ How dare you hang up on me! First, you forget it’s my birthday, and then you don’t even wait for me to end the call!? Stupid Komaeda-chan, stupid! ”

That being said, he furiously hung up on him, spun on his heels and stormed off fuming. It seemed far more dramatic and fake than serious.

        he barely spares nagito a second glance when he enters the room  --  he’d only entered the room because the other dear warriors of hope were getting on his nerves.    amazing, how there are so few people around and yet he can never find a moment alone.     maybe it’s just a moment of weakness, or maybe he’s just bored, but  --  “     how old are you, anyways ?     ”     they’d never actually asked.    it matters, somehow.

“ That has to be a lie. Last time I checked, Komaeda-chan was maybe 6 years old. There’s no waaay a functioning adult could fall flat on his face at least three times a day, I speak from experience. ”Ouma jabbed his index finger at Komaeda’s chest as he replied with a snarl. 

“ You know I’d agree, but Hope’s Peak itself said you’re so unlucky it’s an accomplishment. That’s gotta make you feel better, riiight? At least the government thinks you’re not completely useless! ”

His tone sounded as if being appointed by the government was what was truly worthless. Was that a lie? It would certainly fit a supreme leader of evil to feel that way.
