My favorite rom/coms women and what they taught me/how they inspired me to become my best self
Margaret Tate (The Proposal)
A book publisher/editor, who made me realize this is actually my dream job and right now I’m doing everything to actually achieve it.
Also the beginning scene when she cycles watching the road on the screen and reading a manuscript - it’s a dream come true to have a life like that.
She was a self made woman. She achieved everything she wanted on her own. And it’s crazy inspirational.
Andy Sachs (Devil wears Prada)
She knew what she wanted and was ready for the sacrifices. But she stayed true to herself in the end and made her dreams come true.
Miranda Priestly (Devil wears Prada)
The icon herself. The was such an amazing woman. Running the company like that. Raising children as a single mother. She showed me it’s okay not to bend to other people’s wishes.
Lucy Kelson (Two weeks notice)
She taught me to always be myself. And that it’s okay to be passionate about your beliefs. And that it’s worth pursuing your dreams. And that people who love you for you will stay with you despite your quirkiness.

But for some reason I’m addicted and have watched it soooo many times.

Function Order: Te-Si-Ne-Fi Lucy was an A+ student who graduated from Harvard, and who decides to take a job with the company that she despises (and the man she hates) because he makes a rational proposal to her, about using their financial charitable resources to do “greater good” than her individual protests—she used to spend all her time doing pro bono work, laying down in front of graders…
