MBTI: Ben 10 (Alien Force and Ultimate Alien)
Ben leaps into dangerous situations all the time, no questions asked. He has the Ominitrix—and it's all he needs. Even though he has a team, Ben often leaves them behind chases down aliens by himself. He's obsessed with being a hero, but he also has an intrinsic sense of responsibility. He is driven to help others, no matter what. He flies to alien planets, puts himself in harm's way all the time, tries to protect everyone (he lets Aggregor walk away with a piece of the Map of Infinity just so he can save one alien.) When he learns that his Ultimatrix has trapped a lot of his Ultimate alien forms, he's willing to sacrifice himself to free them. But with this heroism, also comes a ruthless streak. He thinks all situations call for quick, decisive action all the time, and when someone tries to slow him down, he has no patience for them. When Kevin turns into a monster in Ultimate Alien again, Ben's first instinct is to neutralise the threat. He refuses to listen to Gwen, even willing to kill Kevin if that's what it takes.
“If I wanted to take it easy, I’d go live with my grandma. I’m not about to let anyone down.”
Gwen has excellent instincts; she always follows through, and she's almost always right. She knows Tiny is not going to hurt them. When she realizes something strange is going on with Julie, she sends Kevin to follow her around to confirm her theory. Even when Kevin turns into a monster, hurting people, Gwen sees him for who he truly is. Gwen wants to help everyone all the time. She has an extremely hectic life, but she always finds a way to make time for others. She spends every spare moment trying to change Kevin back to normal, even messing with time-travel to do it. She tries to help him get his GED. And even after a draining fight, she manages to be there for her best friend's piano recital. An autodidact, she's skilled at magic because she understands its internal laws and logic. But Gwen doesn't always get how physically demanding it can be. When she turns into her Anodite form, she loses her grip on its power, and it takes someone else talking her down to return to her body.
“Think with your brains, not your fists. That's my job.”
Kevin acts first, regrets it later. He rarely thinks anything through and figures everything can be solved with violence. At the same time, Kevin's all the first person who immediately seizes the opportunity to exploit a situation for his own gain. When he finds Argit selling equipment on a war-torn planet, he joins him at once, even suggesting they paint it white to save money. He's a con artist—and a very good one at that. Kevin spends all his free time working on his car, making modifications, tinkering with alien technology. He even transforms a whole spaceship with his mechanical skills. Kevin's volatile, insecure in his emotions, and constantly doubts others intentions towards him. It makes it easy to manipulate him (like Charmcaster did) or goad him into a fight. But, unlike Ben, Kevin knows when to walk away from one. When it comes to things he truly cares about, like being a Plumber, he bends, going along with others to get what he wants.
